I bought this for several reasons, the main one was I have many appliances that come with a short cord. They’re meant to be short so you’re not tripping over them, etc., but I wanted to be able to plug all my appliances in at once, regardless if I use them all at once or not. My wall outlet only has 2 plug-ins, situated below my kitchen cabinets, and there’s not much room to put many appliances right there. I have a long counter space/island where I can place all my stuff with their short cords, on either side of this extended multi-outlet box. I really like the length of the cord, though for my purposes 10 feet is a little long. I like the braiding of the cord; it’s not easy to accidentally cut. The plug is the best part: so many of these cords come with an adapter the “size of Montana” and require the bottom outlet on the wall or they’ll cover up the other one if you plug them up top. Not so with this one! It’s a small plug and is side-oriented allowing a person to use the other wall outlet regardless of which one this is plugged in. I would buy another if I needed one.

Just moved into a new-to-me home built in the 1970s. The builder placed an outlet for a lamp with a wall switch wired to it, as the closest outlet in the room to split entry stairs. I needed a way to plug in my laptop and not have the power cord stretch across the room. Now this extension powers my laptop and I don't have to worry about tripping over the cord. Also love the USB charging ports onboard. Works great! I actually purchased the 5 foot cord version for use behind the couch to make it easier for guests to charge their phones while visiting.

This is the best extension cord/charging station. I got one for my small office at college, then one for home, and then bought another one for my cubicle in my group office where my outlet is hard to reach. This gave me (and some of my classmates) the ability to charge laptops and phones without having to get on the floor and reach to plug up our devices. The cord is heavy duty. The plug is not so big that it takes up both outlets in the wall like some do. Really well designed. Great for charging multiple devices without worrying. I have had no issues with the three I purchased, and I have had them all around a year. I may get another one for when I travel. I always take an extension cord for my phone charger so I can use it in bed, but with this I would not have to do so and could charge phones and headphones simultaneously.
