Description

Our brake pads are engineered for noise free braking with dual rubber backed shims that offer 6 times more noise reduction than plain steel shims. The pad surfaces are thermal scorched for fast break-in. Evolution pads feature a true ceramic formula that keeps wheels cleaner, and won't wear-out the rotors. Power Stop pads have 20% more stopping power than other leading brands. The premium ceramic compound is made using OE positive mold technology, that assures a uniform friction density throughout the pad and this helps control noise and premature wear. Evolution pads are manufactured under TS16949 standards to OEM specifications including chamfers and slots.

Decided to replace the brakes and rotors myself, after a couple of garages quoted me $1200 to $1400 for the job. Compared the pricing of the parts (brakes & rotors) that they were going to install and found they cost three times less online. The front pads were easier to find than the rear brake pads. Not as familiar with Power Stop as I am with Wagner and Napa. But, so far, they do what they're supposed to. After having my old pads worn for a bit, I got used to hearing that lovely grinding sound and having to floor the brake peddle. Now the brake peddle is firm, and sensitive to the touch. No longer spongy. Such a relief to know that my car safe again. Picture is of my front left brake line with everything installed including new EBC Premium vented rotor. Brake pads and hardware fit perfectly, looked exactly like the OES pads. ... show more
