This company is excellent to deal with. I bought two of these to install in my 2018 Lance trailer unfortunately the Lance only uses 8 gauge cable to the battery. These require minimum 6 gauge cable from the battery to the inverter. My trailer wiring is all installed inside the walls. Rather than running an external larger cable underneath my trailer I decided to return these two batteries and all accessories I had gathered for my conversion. Easy return. Bought this several months ago for travel trailer. Replace my power panel because it was made for lead acid batteries and would not fully charge lithiums. Compared to my lead acid it's a no brainer. Half the weight and double the usable power. My 100 amp hour lead acid was considered "flat" after using 50 amp hours; this type you actually can get a full 100 amps. ... show more

    • Won't fully charge due to BMS
Style: 12.8V100Ah - Group 31
The BMS in this battery (Power Queen 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery Group 31) cuts off current when the voltage reaches about 14.2v. As a result, a 14.4v or 14.6v charger will never reach CV mode and the battery is not fully charged. Another reviewer (Jared) had the same issue on two of these batteries. In particular, the 14.6v Power Queen charger never reaches CV mode and does not fully charge this battery. Update: I changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars since the BMS cutoff at 14.2v when charging still allows the battery to be close to fully charged even though the constant-voltage (CV) stage is not reached. The resting voltage (after 1 hr) when charging this way is about 13.4v, which is close to fully charged, and I can increase the resting voltage to 14v by restarting the charger twice to add some additional charge. Of course this is a bit inconvenient, which is why I don't give 5 stars. In the future, I will look more carefully at the specs before buying a battery. (In this case, the specs say the charge voltage is 14.4+-0.2v, so the CV stage is never reached with a 14.6v charger.) ... show more
