I had solid 14k earrings of the same size, and sadly lost one at a concert (Chris Brown concert was awesome!! LOL sad to lose the earring but his music is SOOO GOOD!). Decided to try these based on the great reviews. Look at the color and shine compared to the "real" 14K gold hoop!! Looks great! Can't see a difference! The clasp on one was too tight, but I was able to easily fix by opening it further with a knife and closing them to my liking with my teeth (YOU should use pliers, but I'm too lazy. . .). I have sensitive ears, wore them all day, and no irritation at all. Super light-weight they felt like my original pair. Can't speak to the tarnish resistance, but based on the other reviews and at this price I'm not too worried. I liked them so much i just ordered another pair in a smaller size. ... show more

OMG! I LOVE these! Bought them a 2nd time because I lost one of my 1st pair. These are so good! When I say I have sensitive ears, I mean so sensitive that when I do wear earrings it has to be pure 18k gold. I took a risk buying these due to the reviews and I'm so glad I did! The 1st wear my ears did get a little itchy but I made sure to clean the earrings and my ears before and after wearing them. After the 1st wear I never got the itchy feeling again.
