This pure sine wave inverter is a solid workhorse at a very fair price. I have two units from this company, one with the fancy screen, and this one. I prefer this one as I don't need a big glowy screen for my application, and the remote that comes with this one is nicely useable and able to be placed/mounted wherever you like. The fact that this unit tends to be more affordable than the one with the screen furthers my belief that this unit is a no-brainer. I have been using it about 6 months continuously so far without any issues, and I have it paired up with this LIFePO4 battery which I also think is a steal (this one: https://amzn.to/3KKfdlA). They work excellently together. In addition, one of the things I appreciate about this company's power inverters is they are very quiet, with the fan only coming on during times of high heat or high power draw (over 1400 watts or 104 degrees F).     • Seems to work well

This has been updated after having for a few months for the 1,500W pure sine inverter. I have done some digging to try to get a better understanding of the nuances of this inverter. This in the USA market. Something to point out when I asked the brand label about using a bonding plug with this inverter is they recommend against it, claiming it could cause damage and be dangerous, instead referring to using a GFCI inverter. However, now I have spent some time in the NEC codes and ran some tests and the answer I have is this is a "floating neutral" "power generator". In the NEC code a "separately derived" generator must have a ground bonded neutral. For an inverter like this, you can do this via a bonding plug. It works. Now with the bonding plug the inverter is NEC compliant. The only reason you would not bond an inverter like this is if you are using it with a transfer switch (or other setup) where you know there is already a bonded ground neutral connection. All NEC compliant setups only have one bonding point, not zero, not two. So in the case of say mounting this in a car, it is a "separately derived" generator and thus must have the ground and neutral bonded in order to be NEC compliant. Another way to put it in simple terms is the manufacturer recommendation is more dangerous than conforming to NEC codes as you cannot clear a ground fault state without a ground-neutral bond, and this is why it is confusing to talk to them because they are telling you the wrong things. They don't actually understand how their products work and they certainly don't understand electrical codes in the USA. I have done some reading and have done some tests and the brand label for this inverter is just plain wrong. At least whoever engineered this inverter knew what they were doing and designed something that conforms to norms, at least for products coming out of China. It is just the brand label selling this inverter never talked to the engineer, so they have no idea what is going on. (If it generates AC power and is coming out of China, it is probably a "floating neutral" generator unless otherwise stated. Even if it claims to be bonded, you still have to hook an AC outlet tester to it to see if they lied to you.) One of my big goals with this inverter is to drive single phase AC motors. This works fine with this inverter, no buzzing. (MST inverters will cause motors to buzz and get super hot, so thus why pure sine is important.) Actually, you don't really use the whole 1,500W most of the time for this use case because most of this extra inverter capability is to just get one of these motors started and then handle the electrical noise from one of these rather primitive motors. An inverter closer to the rated power of one of these motors will get overwhelmed by the starting load and then electrical noise while in operation and shed the load.     • Not ideal for unsupervised off-grid systems

Quality seemed ok but momentary on/off switch doesn’t resume in the on state when DC supply power drops and is reapplied. Need it for an off-grid system where if voltage drops bc batteries are failing, the inverter will at least reset power to 120v circuits once enough PV comes in every day.

Ran my older fridge and freezer (600-700w) 8 hours with no problem and still had 12.8v. Very good for first night out of the box. Last inverter I bought had multiple issues even thought it was 1100w. Will come back later on and update. Only downside is no display for wattage, but I will trade that for a good nights sleep with no worries. Will give 5* if it continues to run like it did out of the box. Review update…rating 5 stars now, this inverter works great, fridge and freezer are still running flawlessly. Maxed out the capacity the other day running a tea pot that rated 1470 watts. Inverter fan was running while the tea pot was coming to a boil, but never shut off.     • Has a bonded neutral, ensure you connect a ground!!!!

Ok, to start with. This unit has a bonded neutral and you need to connect the ground on the unit to either an Earth ground or to a Frame ground if using it in a trailer or motorhome. If you hook it up correctly, all is good and safe with the world!! I bought this unit because I wanted to run by microwave/convection over on it when dry camping or in a rest stop. The load placed on the unit is higher than the rated load of the equipment when it starts up. The recommendation is to have a unit about 3 times larger than you need to deal with any startup current draws. This 3,000 watt unit handles every with ease!! No problems at all. The remote is easy to wire in and simple to install. You do not need to use it if you do not want to. Keep in mind that if you have the unit on and no items are connected to it, it will still draw power and will still run your battery down. Measured current draw with nothing running was .7 amps. if you figure 1 amp to make it simple, you are killing 24 amp hours of battery capacity to let it just run with nothing on! So, turn it off when not needed. That is why the remote switch is good!!! I have not had the fan come on yet with what I am using. Of course, I have not run the oven on the microwave more than 1 hour. In case you are wondering, I have a 300 amp hour lithium iron oxide battery.
