Description

BAMF Series subwoofers deliver! This 3,800-Watt BAMF Series 15" Dual 2ohm Subwoofer from Power Acoustik is built to survive. It has an overcompensating motor structure for increased magnetic strength, 12mm T-yoke & top plate improve low-frequency dynamics, vented T-yoke & frame reduce voice-coil heat buildup and a nonmagnetic no resonant die-cast aluminum frame. It also has a 3" four-layer voice coil with direct-connect wire and high-temperature- tolerant adhesives. No transfer spruce pulp cone with UV & chemical protection, stitched & glued surround/cone joints and extended-excursion polyether foam surround with UV protection and dual poly-cotton suspension dampen violent accelerations. The stitched voice-coil leads prevent potential damage as well. This subwoofer has an RMS of 1,900 watts, a 3" dual 2ohm voice-coil configuration and a 6.5" mounting depth. It includes 1 gasket/trim ring with concealed mounting holes.

People are shocked how loud the speaker is for the price would buy the speaker a hundred times over the price is reasonable for other markets before a 15 inch subwoofer you cannot go wrong you can hear this thing from blocks away it will shake your neighbor's house windows as long as you have the right box I'm running 1200 watts to this with no problem ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have two 15 inch 4 ohm DVC Power Acoustik BAMF 154 subs, in a custom box I made with 2 cubic feet internal volume per sub, running at a 1 ohm load, fed by a Power Acoustik OD1-7500D amp in bridged mode, a 6 farad Audiopipe capacitor, and an Optima Yellow top battery. I had a 15 inch sony xplod that I just took out which hit slightly cleaner and deeper but this hits sooooooo much harder. UPDATE: Less than half a year of normal use feeding it wattage not exceeding the RMS specs, voicecoil completely fried. Now I have 50 pound $129 magnet. SECOND UPDATE: My second sub has now blown. These subs have great sound quality and value but if you play them for an extended period on a hot day the voice coil will melt. Very disappointed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. i got 2 of them and slapped them in a sony box with a boom tube. let me tell you. these hit low frequencies HARD. don’t listen to the people that tell you to break them in bc these are BEASTS. shook a painting off my wall when i parked at my house the first time. i am running 3000 rms thru a taramps MD.3000.1 with a rockville 2 gauge wiring kit. all of which is available on amazon. sony box i found at a scrapyard. i pushed them as hard as my amp could and they didn’t clip whatsoever. will upgrade to sundown eventually but these will be more than good for now ... show more

I have had this sub for about 6 months now, and I was always confused on why it wasn't hitting as hard as it should. A few days ago I took it out of the box I mounted it in, and measured the impedance at each voice coil terminal. It came to a big surprise to me that one read 4 ohms and the other didn't read at all, I tried getting a reading at every point possible, but nothing.
