Craft Coffee Connoisseur on a Budget? This Pour Over Might Be Your Perfect Cup
Color: Diamond - 400ML/13.5OZ
Calling all coffee lovers! I recently snagged a pour-over coffee maker with a reusable stainless steel filter and a fancy glass carafe. Here's the scoop after brewing a pot (or rather, a carafe) of my favorite beans. Perk Up Your Mornings: This pour-over setup is all about the ritual. It's a manual brewing method that lets you control every aspect of the coffee-making process, from grind size to water temperature. If you're looking for a quick cup of joe, this might not be it. But this is a great way to elevate your morning brew if you're a coffee connoisseur seeking a more hands-on experience. Stainless Steel Savior: Ditch the paper filters! This one comes with a reusable stainless steel filter, which is a plus for the environment and your wallet. No more wasteful filters to buy, and cleaning the steel filter is a breeze. Carafe Class: The borosilicate glass carafe looks sleek and modern, with a wooden collar that adds a touch of warmth. It's clear, so you can see the rich coffee color brewing right before your eyes. The 400ml capacity is perfect for a one or two-person serving. Budget-Friendly Brews: This pour-over is a steal compared to some fancy automatic coffee makers. It delivers a quality cup of coffee without the hefty price tag. A Few Quirks: Pour-over brewing can be messy if you're new to the technique. It takes some practice to get the perfect pour and avoid ground overflow. Also, the glass carafe, while beautiful, isn't insulated. Your coffee might cool down faster than with a thermal carafe. Overall: If you're a coffee enthusiast looking for a budget-friendly way to brew delicious coffee at home, this pour-over maker with a reusable filter is a great option. The stainless steel filter saves money and reduces waste, while the carafe is stylish and functional. Just be prepared for a learning curve with the pour-over method, and remember that the carafe won't keep your coffee hot for hours.

Works well
Color: Diamond - 400ML/13.5OZ
This is great for making a cup or two of our-over coffee. I like that the filter is stainless vs plastic (plus no paper filter required) and that the wooden collar comes off easily for washing. I don't love the carafe, which is molded to look like a jewel, which is less classy in real life. The glass is also super thin, so I definitely don't wash this in the dishwasher. Still, nice to have for a morning cup of java.

Not a Good Chemex Replacement
Color: Circular - 400ML/13.5OZ
I really enjoy the flavor profile of the Chemex, but I don't like brewing in such large batches, so I was hoping this could be an acceptable alternative with a smaller footprint. At a glance it looks strikingly similar to the iconic Chemex design. This came with a reusable stainless steel mesh filter, but I'm not generally a fan of the coffee they produce so I decided to use paper filters a la Chemex. The fatal flaw is the design of the spout. Unlike the Chemex, which has a channel on the spout to allow airflow beneath the filter, this product does not have that channel. The filter suctions itself to the glass, cutting off airflow, and thereby stopping the flow of water. Using the included filter, you don't have this issue. So if you don't mind your coffee having many of the oils in it, this product would work nicely for you. If you're like me and prefer the reduced oil profile of a paper filter, this will be an unfortunate disappointment.

Its durability surprised me
Color: Circular - 400ML/13.5OZ
When this COFISUKI carafe and filter first arrived I will be perfectly honest, it looked fragile and I thought it would not last. I am pleasantly surprised. I've brewed daily in in for a few months now and its like new. I wanted it because I am the only coffee drinker in the house so I did not need one more countertop appliance such as a large coffee machine on the counter. Its easy to use and easy to clean. While the larger coffee makers are not a big deal to clean, one must maintain the reservoir and flush to clean the lines periodically. But as I said, Im the only coffee drinker. If there are guests who would like a cup of coffee, this does make 3 cups. If your guests want more than that, they've stayed to long. lol. Its a simple process. I use fresh beans. Coffee grinder, hot pot, and this carafe. The stainless steel filter works perfectly, no grounds in the coffee at all. Now, if I want a second cup which is rarely, but sometimes. I will hit the hot pot to heat my water again, takes just 1 minute and pour it over the already spent grounds in the filter because those grounds are still good. The second cup I will have to use a spoon to stir the coffee grounds a bit because it doesnt filter as fast as the first cup. You must rinse it out for a faster drip. But I just dont. Its easy to clean. I dont put it in the dishwasher because of the wooden collar that is around it to prevent you from hot hands when you pour. I want it to last. Just use a foam bottle brush and gently clean, sit upside down ( I use a paper towel mat) and your done. I can wash the filter at the same time because Im cleaning it anyways. its so simple. The lead free Borosilicate glass is a plus. To prolong its life, be gentle with it. Its durable, just set it down easy. It holds that hot coffee like a pro. Overall opinion is, its flawless.
