This thing is amazing. It works really good makes it great strong cuppa coffee put four scoops of your favorite coffee slowly pour water and enjoy with 15 minutes. You’ll be taking a nice healthy poop.

This is great for making a cup or two of our-over coffee. I like that the filter is stainless vs plastic (plus no paper filter required) and that the wooden collar comes off easily for washing. I don't love the carafe, which is molded to look like a jewel, which is less classy in real life. The glass is also super thin, so I definitely don't wash this in the dishwasher. Still, nice to have for a morning cup of java.

I really enjoy the flavor profile of the Chemex, but I don't like brewing in such large batches, so I was hoping this could be an acceptable alternative with a smaller footprint. At a glance it looks strikingly similar to the iconic Chemex design. This came with a reusable stainless steel mesh filter, but I'm not generally a fan of the coffee they produce so I decided to use paper filters a la Chemex. The fatal flaw is the design of the spout. Unlike the Chemex, which has a channel on the spout to allow airflow beneath the filter, this product does not have that channel. The filter suctions itself to the glass, cutting off airflow, and thereby stopping the flow of water. Using the included filter, you don't have this issue. So if you don't mind your coffee having many of the oils in it, this product would work nicely for you. If you're like me and prefer the reduced oil profile of a paper filter, this will be an unfortunate disappointment.

When this COFISUKI carafe and filter first arrived I will be perfectly honest, it looked fragile and I thought it would not last. I am pleasantly surprised. I've brewed daily in in for a few months now and its like new. I wanted it because I am the only coffee drinker in the house so I did not need one more countertop appliance such as a large coffee machine on the counter. Its easy to use and easy to clean. While the larger coffee makers are not a big deal to clean, one must maintain the reservoir and flush to clean the lines periodically. But as I said, Im the only coffee drinker. If there are guests who would like a cup of coffee, this does make 3 cups. If your guests want more than that, they've stayed to long. lol. Its a simple process. I use fresh beans. Coffee grinder, hot pot, and this carafe. The stainless steel filter works perfectly, no grounds in the coffee at all. Now, if I want a second cup which is rarely, but sometimes. I will hit the hot pot to heat my water again, takes just 1 minute and pour it over the already spent grounds in the filter because those grounds are still good. The second cup I will have to use a spoon to stir the coffee grounds a bit because it doesnt filter as fast as the first cup. You must rinse it out for a faster drip. But I just dont. Its easy to clean. I dont put it in the dishwasher because of the wooden collar that is around it to prevent you from hot hands when you pour. I want it to last. Just use a foam bottle brush and gently clean, sit upside down ( I use a paper towel mat) and your done. I can wash the filter at the same time because Im cleaning it anyways. its so simple. The lead free Borosilicate glass is a plus. To prolong its life, be gentle with it. Its durable, just set it down easy. It holds that hot coffee like a pro. Overall opinion is, its flawless.
