I'm pretty happy with this sander. I bought this and used it with batteries I already have. My first use was on my kitchen table which I'm refinishing. It worked great. Went through the batteries pretty quickly, especially the older 2 (I have 3 PC batteries, 2 are pretty old one is less than a year old). Liked I already had Porter Cable batteries and chargers, sander works as designed. As long as you apply sand paper disks properly so the holes are lined up to suck up the dust. Wish I would have purchased a long time ago.
