I was very hasident to buy in to the Festool polishing system because of the high entry cost. The results surpassed my expectations. By following all the steps and using the correct color coded compounds and sponge applicators I ended up with a very smooth and shiny finish. I realize you can most likely get similar results with other products, BUT by using the Festool system all the guess work is done for you. Just follow the color codes. There is a color band on the polish that matches the same color of the applicator sponge. If you do this you will get a superior finish. ... show more
