The Swell Pro Wakesurf Rope feels significantly more premium than other surf tow ropes I've used in the past. The thick braided line is a cool blue-gray color, and has the great feature of having a couple of detachable lengths that lets you dial in the distance behind the boat without the annoying and unsightly coil rapped around the tower. Interestingly, according to Swell, this is their lighter weight tow rope, but we found that this rope is still heavier than our old rope. I think the bit of added weight is a positive, as the thick line seems like it will stand up to a lot of use, and it adds a bit of inertia when tossing the rope back into the boat. The rope has plenty of foam to keep it buoyant, so there's almost no way that it could get sucked under and into the prop. The handle is covered with a nice neoprene feeling material with robust stitching that looks very durable. Four stars because the end of the rope (after shortening to appropriate length) frayed a bit, which I had to melt together to ensure the fray did not extend into/past the knot. But overall, I highly recommend this premium feeling (but competitively priced) wakesurf rope. ... show more

This rope is easily my favorite I’ve used for wakesurfing. It’s extra thick, heavy, and has a nice smooth finish that’s easy on the hands. The added thickness and weight make it very easy to toss into the boat. The handle is super comfortable as well. At this price point, there is nothing better.

Very nice rope, used it last week for the first time. Like the adjustable links, and the think part of the rope after the handle to pull in and out of the wake , the rope is designed perfect. Stays afloat and I like the size of the handle because there is no way to get your arm stuck inside it for a bad accident ... show more
