Do not buy this product. First one overheated and thought it was isolated incident. Replacement caught fire and could have burned my house down. Luckily I was right there when it caught fire and put it out! It was submerged in water and caught fire at very top of cord. Was using exactly has instructed and product is extremely dangerous! Cannot give 0 stars. This is to warn everyone not to purchase!

Where I live, it's kind of like camping out but never going home in lots of ways. We have loss of power more frequently for one thing. And recently my sons decided to re-think how my power usage could be improved so my light bill wouldn't be so high, That included switching my water heater over to a propane "on demand" water heater but sometimes that hasn't worked right and hasn't given me a hot water supply in the kitchen, so this item has saved the day. My daughter had one for awhile in the past and suggested this one. It's fast and reliable, provided the power isn't out. One of my sons and my grandson are electricians and own an electric company so if the power does go out, they can bring me a generator and I can still use either the propane water heater or this one.

There's not enough grip to be able to turn the bottom and the top and then part of it comes apart in your hand and you have to fix that and then it waste more time and now the bottom is stuck on and I can't get my pills out! Do not recommend this product to anybody!
Does not really heat the water, it only heats the surface so the water is not actually hot below which is the important part. Wish I could return but waited too late

IT works as stated just pay attention to what you are doing and the amount of time passing. Cannot be distracted at all. Make sure to unplug from the wall before pulling cord to take out the immersed tube. I have to use a thick extension cord so i make sure this is unplugged first. then let it sit for 5 minutes before placing temperature wire in the bucket.
