Let me preface this by saying I’ve always been intrigued by the idea of a sauna but never had the space or budget for a traditional one. So, when I stumbled upon this portable steam sauna, I was understandably excited. I have a stressful job and often find myself aching after intense workouts, so I was hoping this would be the perfect solution for relaxation and muscle recovery. Assembly was a breeze. Seriously, it took me less than 10 minutes to set it up. The instructions were clear, and the UPVC bracket design made it easy to snap the frame together. I was impressed by the 4-layer design; it felt sturdy and substantial. I could actually feel the difference in temperature inside once I turned on the steamer. My first sauna session was blissful. It took about 8 minutes to reach a comfortable temperature, and the steam felt wonderfully invigorating. I used the included timer so I wouldn't overheat, and I appreciated the dual zipper and detachable window for ventilation. I emerged feeling refreshed and relaxed, with all my muscle soreness gone. Since then, it's become a regular part of my post-workout routine, and I even convince my partner to join me sometimes. It's a great way to unwind at the end of the day and honestly, it's a lot more luxurious than I expected from a portable sauna. There are a few minor things that could be improved. For one, the foldable chair is okay, but it's not the most comfortable seating option. I might invest in a separate cushion for it. And while I enjoy the digital display, sometimes I wish it was clearer or maybe a bit larger. But these are really minor quibbles. Overall, I'm beyond happy with this purchase. It delivers on its promise of a relaxing and rejuvenating sauna experience, all within the comfort of my own home. If you're considering a portable sauna, I highly recommend this one!

The setup for the sauna box was easy and straight forward. I was able to put it together myself. It just required plugging some PVC pipes and couplers together to make the frame, then sliding the cover over and around it. The zippers get slightly tight when crossing the corners requiring a bit of maneuvering to get it zipped. Then it was a matter of plugging in the tubes, which I wished there was a longer tube for the outside, so I can position the steam pot device on the back of the box rather than the side where the coupler between the inside and outside is. It would be perhaps even better if there was a way to just position the coupler freely along the bottom somewhere rather than the fixed position it is in. The steam box was fairly straight forward as well. It was just a matter of filling the bucket with water and turning it on. As the instructions stated, it started to steam up after about 7-10 minutes on the highest P9 setting. After that, they suggested to start at P5, which was a nice comfortable level, but I was already used to a much warmer steam room at the gym, so for me, something like P7 was nice. The remote is a nice to have to change temp or turn the device on and off and change the timer. However, it is literally just a remote with buttons, so you would need to remember what it was set to and how many times you press it to know what it changed to. There's no display on the remote to tell you what it is currently on, and as mentioned the short tube included forces the device to the side where you cannot see the steam box out the window either. Overall, the steam sauna was nice. The whole setup is also easy to take apart, but nothing was included to store it, so I would keep the box it came in for that.

I think this is great for a relatively inexpensive home steam room. Understand that this does not give the full luxury steam room experience, primarily in that you are sitting in an enclosed fabric box, but other than that, this really works well. It does require some assembly, and the instructions aren’t as clear as they should be, but it really wasn’t that hard to put together. The instructions referred to the structural posts as being stainless steel, though it is more accurately described in the listing as being a plastic, basically PVC tubing. To assemble this, you first need to create the frame by attaching the PVC tubes to the included connectors, and while the instructions did not describe this at all, it is fairly clear when you realize that you need the four corner connectors to create the corners on the bottom, and similarly the other four corner connectors go on the top four corners, leaving four straight middle connectors each of which you attach between two tubes to create the taller side poles. It makes sense when you just start piecing it together. Each pole slides into the connectors very easily, just requiring an average amount of hand strength, with no tools required for any of this assembly. Once you have that frame put together, you then pull the fabric wall over this frame, which requires that you first unzip that fabric frame completely, and then just pull it over the frame, which would be easier with two people, but I did not find it that difficult to do by myself. Once you have the fabric over the frame, you then just zip it together again. After that, you attach one of the two flexible tubes to the nozzle on the inside of the steam room, and attach the other end of that to the steam pot that sits inside of the steam room. You then attach the other flexible tube to the outside of that nozzle, and the other end of that gets attached to the machine that creates the steam. That’s about it. There is an included folding chair, which is quite small but also is sturdy enough. I weigh 170 pounds and felt very comfortable sitting on the chair. I am 5‘9“ tall and I am able to fully stand inside of this steam room without my head hitting the top, though it is pretty close so I think you would start hitting your head if you are 5‘10“ tall or taller. Still, if you are not much taller than that, then you would just barely need to bend over a bit while getting to the chair, and anyone would certainly have plenty of room once you to get in and sit down. The device is easy enough to use, with one button to turn it on and off, another for the timer, and the third button sets the temperature between levels one through nine, which displays as P1 through P9 (presumably P is for power level). When initially turning it on, it turns on at level P9, which is the highest setting, to get the water heating up, and it does take 10 to 15 minutes to preheat the water to a temperature where it begins to make steam, and maybe more like 15 to 20 minutes to really be making good steam. The device seems to work well and I like the stainless steel water vessel, which also has markings inside to show how much water volume you are using, which can be helpful when using this repeatedly as you can learn how much water you need for your session, and if you use less water, it will presumably preheat faster. Once it is heated, the instructions recommend using it on power five (“ P5“), and you can adjust up or down from there. I did find that P5 was a good setting for us. This also includes a remote control device, but I’m not sure how useful that will be, as it is difficult to tell what power level you are adjusting it to without looking at the display on the steam unit itself. With that unit being on the side of the steam room, it is not where I can see it through the window. To help prevent mold growth, we leave the door open somewhat after use so that the inside can dry more rapidly. There’s a small pocket on the inside and outside of the door to the steam room, which can be a convenient place to put the remote, a phone, eyeglasses, etc. We all found this steam room to be very effective and relaxing. It works well and I think this is a good choice if you’re looking for a steam room like this. Note that it is a large, dark fabric box, which needs a large space, and may not match everyone’s home decor plans. I am attaching a couple photos to show you the parts before assembly as well as my fully assembled steam room. I hope some of this is helpful for you. We do like it.
