Reviewing yamxun Portable Steam Sauna Box for Home: This is easy to set up, but I do agree with another reviewer that said the T-bars aren’t that durable. You need to be careful, so you don’t break or bend them. Once it’s set up, the steamer is easy to figure out and is highly customizable, regarding the heat and steam amount you want. The chair is comfortable also. There’s plenty of room inside the sauna and since the steamer holds 3 gallons of water, it can go for a long time, longer than one person would want to sit in the sauna for in one setting. The window is nice to allow light inside while you are steaming, but it fogs up quickly so isn’t that great for visibility outside the tent. It heats up quickly though, so you don’t need to sit around waiting. It’s nice quality. I like it.

I didn’t know what to expect, but it blew me away! Set up was a breeze. Took about 20 min. As long as you don’t cram the poles into the joints you’ll be good. The zippers work great. I’m very claustrophobic and I had no issues sitting in here. Window is key! It gets to steamy you’ll be dripping from head to toe. At one point I had to poke my head out for some fresh air it was getting so steamy it was a little hard to breathe it in! I didn’t even get it up to the highest setting either. I feel like a relaxed limp noodle added my session. This will help me get though the long Midwest winters! Chair is not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it’s still fine. Just don’t expect it to be like a lazy boy recliner. You will need leg strength to get out of the chair or someone to help pull you up. There is nothing to grab onto or brace your arms against to help you up. Just something to keep in mind! Unless you crawl out and then grab into something. I love this thing though!

What I like about it: １. Setting up becomes easier after the first time or two. Think of the plastic frame like a giant tinker toy. The vertical rods are longer and horizontal rods are shorter. The connectors are all the same except the two pieces at the mid section of the entrance. Otherwise building the bottom frame and inserting it at the base of the tent is the right start, and everything else follows. Be sure to note that the tent can be unzipped all the way around, so that the hole where the steam tube enters needs to be on the front right side as you face it. That’s about all the complexity there is. ２. The steam comes up full blast and fills the tent within 8 minutes at the highest setting. ３. Not sure about perspiration but the steam does roll off the skin after about a 40-min session. What I don’t like about it: １. It gets very dark inside if there’s no direct or strong overhead lighting. ２. It’s a sizeable structure so unless you want it up permanently, storage becomes a concern. What’s missing is a duffle bag that can contain all the parts including the steamer machine. ３. It takes several days to make sure all parts are dried so there’s no chance of mold growing inside. The design could have been made better so airing out could be faster. ４. There was no instruction on how to set up the steamer and the shorter tube. Basically the attachment with cap on the shorter tube has to be unscrewed and taken off, then with the tube inserted through the side hole, reconnected to make it as air tight as possible with the two washers. ５. The steamer builds scale after three uses with hard water. This is common for cheaper metal. ６. The pad that soaks water at the bottom is too small to do the right job. ７. Since most of the time is spent sitting, it really didn’t need to be so tall and take up a lot of vertical space. ８. The $180 price is more than its competition which offer the same features and benefits.

This item arrived with crucial pieces missing. We are missing the bag labeled number 3. You can't even attempt to put it together with out them. The chair is rather small, so if you are larger than a 13 year old girl, I would substitute with a bigger chair.
