The heater fits nicely under my desk, folds up for convenient storage, and works effectively. It is a diffused heat that heats well without making you too hot on your skin. The control pad also gets very hot, which makes it a little awkward to use the control panel while the heater is on. I love that it only goes for 9 hours, which makes it great for the workplace environment so they are no safety concerns related to forgetting to turn it off. It also has a "tip" safety feature that automatically pauses the heat if the heater tips in any direction, and the heater automatically unpauses once it is back in the upright position. This heater is definitely worth the money!

I bought this last winter to use under my desk. My home office setup is right by an outside wall and gets very cold, especially when just sitting for long periods. This fits very nicely in the footwell--the 5-panel construction means you can configure it easily to fit a specific space. When not in use, it folds up compactly for easy storage. It heats up quickly. The heat setting and timer are adjustable. I haven't used the remote control since mine is in use only when I'm seated at my desk so I use the control panel on the heater. Some people mentioned that the control panel was difficult to use. I didn't find that to be the case, but you do need to press in the center of a button and hold firmly for a few seconds. I see that as a plus, frankly, since you don't want controls that could be changed just by an inadvertent touch. Speaking of which, this heater seems very safe. It's sturdy--even when I intentionally jostle/tug on it, it barely budges. No danger of tipover. (People with children/pets should use their own judgement and take reasonable precautions.) The surface of the pad does get warm to the touch, but not uncomfortably so. No burn risk with normal, reasonable use. (Again, precautions should be made to prevent prolonged, direct exposure.) And if I'm going to be away/out of the room for any length of time, I manually turn it off. On the few occasions I've forgotten, the auto shutoff has worked. I was unfamiliar with this kind of heater, so it was something of a risk for me when I bought it, but I couldn't be happier with it. I've already set it up again this year for the nippy autumn mornings and my feet are nice and toasty.

Really quick set up and start. Product does have a plastic smell to it but I think it will dissipate after a few uses. I bought it to keep my feet warm. I have it on 120º under my work desk in my office and the heat was pretty immediate. I really like the timer feature so I don't have to worry that I left it on when I leave work. This radiates heat so you are not going to get that warm air breeze that you would get from a traditional heater with a fan. It's for supplemental heat not as a single source of heat if you are trying to use it like that it's probably not going to be what you want.

For anyone who wants to be warm at their desk without the dry air or whirring of a traditional under desk space heater, this is for you. It fits perfectly under my desk and the radiant heat keeps me toasty without being too hot, the timer is just a good since you can't forget to shut it off at the end of the day too. I had an issue with a broken handle and contacted customer service to address, they offered to send one out but when I followed up to inquire if it had been shipped the said they would just send a whole new heater, sadly one of those handles was broken too but they did go above and beyond to replace one plastic snap on handle with a completely new heater. All in all a good experience.

The reviews were all very positive. I had to get this to see if it was as good as I was reading. And sure enough, this is awesome. Some reviews mentioned an order. Besides the new smell, I don't smell a horrible smell. Just a new item. Its quiet and it heats up quickly. The heat rises, so it warms all of me up.

I'll start by saying I hate space heaters. They blow hot air around and dry out the air and makes me stuffy and then I get nose-bleeds (TMI, but that's the level I'm talking about). I hate heat on my face in general and I'd just rather be cold all over. I've tried radiators, but they still make the whole room too warm and dry. At the same time, I live in a colder climate (PNW) and to top it off, I prefer to wear sandals year-round because Clarks are the most comfortable thing I put on my feet. :) So I bought this for work to go under my desk while I work. I am so warm and cozy now on my legs and feet while not ruining the rest of my life. The room is not too hot (though it does take the edge off the cold), not dried out, and I just love it. Where has this been all my life?

I would say at first I didn’t have high hopes for this product, but it turned out to be amazing! I love the warmth it brings to my legs and feet. With it being cold out and having the central heat on for whatever reason my legs and feet are still cold but using this product hits the spot to keeping them cozy. I usually have it on the highest setting so I don’t have to wear long pants or socks, which works for me. I love the fold away effect when I’m done with it as well being able to touch it though it’s on because of the awesome material. I love that I can move it from room to room. I love how durable the material is as well as the under desk look (out of sight, out of mind) for anyone that sees it if they do. They don’t even notice it. I’ve gotten compliments on it and I am happy with the purchase. I didn’t like the price on it. Could have been a little cheaper like maybe $35-40 instead of $65+ as well as I wish it had some type of band or Velcro to keep the product folded when put away. IMO the price doesn't fit what’s given, but in the end I will not be sending it back. I pray it last me awhile so I may enjoy the use of it.
