Completely dark, enough space to add mic, led light and other things you need for voice recording. Easy setup. I've recorded and if you have the right equipment and environment, clean audio. I used a sennheiser mic with a $79 mic standbthat has the half circle foam around for mic. The result, super clean, clear audio. And take down is good. I recommend. Will update on result of recording shortly.

I dont write reviews often, but this product is a blatant attempt at false advertising. The interior skeleton is not tall enough to support the flimsy blanket tower, (which collapses into itself) and there is no way to close the opening completely. Not only that, but the material itself is so thin that it barely reduces the sounds that you are trying to minimize, i.e. your computer if you are someone who is trying to get rid of background noise for recording.

Right after setting up this portable recording booth, I could hear a noticeable change in my recordings. My room has always had a bit of echo, no matter how many small adjustments I tried to make, and it used to creep into every voice take. As soon as I placed my mic inside this booth and did a quick test, the difference was almost immediate. The sound felt tighter. Cleaner, and far more controlled than what I was getting before. The setup itself was surprisingly easy. It opens smoothly and feels secure once it’s in place, which gave me a bit more confidence while working, and it almost feels like the booth creates its own little quiet space inside a noisy room. Hearing my voice come through so clearly for the first few tests was a bit of relief- it felt like the sound I had been trying to achieve for a long time. I also appreciate how simple it is to pack away. It folds down without any struggle, and the bag keeps everything organized so it doesn’t take up much space. It has already made recording feel smoother and more enjoyable. Every time I play back my audio now, it feels satisfying to hear such a clean, consistent result.
