The majority of it was already constructed when it came, so all I needed to do to have it ready to use was connect a few components. It is particularly helpful for maintaining my balance during longer sessions or when I want to crank up the pace a little bit since the handlebargives it a sturdy feel while I am walking. In spite of the fact that I am walking at a rapid pace, the treadmill does not become unstable in any way. Because I often go for walks early in the morning or late in the evening, when most people in the home are unwinding, it is essential that the motor be able to operate without any hiccups and in complete silence. The sound of the machine does not interfere with my ability to watch television, listen to podcasts, or accept calls without causing me irritation. The walking surface is large enough to ensure that I never feel confined, even when I am walking for extended distances. It also provides a nice sensation underfoot. It has been my experience that the treadmill is able to manage both shorter sessions throughout the day as well as a few walks that last for forty-five minutes without any problems. Because the speed settings are simple to alter, I am able to begin at a slower tempo in order to become used to it and then gradually raise it as I progress. ... show more

I bought this thinking maybe it won’t be too bad for the price. I was very pleasantly shocked. It’s an incredible value for the price. The construction is solid, it came with the belt setup perfectly and setup was easy. In fact it took longer to get it out of the box than to set it up. It runs smoothly and is very quiet. Our dog barks at every little noise, but when I get up early to start using it, there’s not a peep out of him. I’d like to address a couple of things in some of the other reviews. Someone said the handrail is too short. I’m 6’4” and I have no problem with it at all. Secondly someone mentioned the holes for the handrail bolts not lining up correctly. I used a flashlight to check the alignment and the bolts slipped right in with my fingers. If you’re looking for a well built, quiet portable treadmill for a decent price, buy this now. ... show more

Very nice treadmill with some caveats; It doesn't fold up, so buyer be aware. Assembly instructions are very cryptic leading to quite a bit of confusion putting it together, but most of that was the belief that it was foldable, when it wasn't. Once I understood that, assembly became much more logical. Tends to overheat and shutdown at the 10,000 step mark, and speed settings doesn't seem to change that invisible wall. Treadmill arrived intact. However, assembly is required. Instructions for assembly difficult to understand. Pictures were extremely small and unable to determine size of screws without using a magnifying glass. Took better than an hour to assemble. Once assembled, it turned on and lights worked. However, belt would only turn regardless of speed. If you stepped on it, it would NOT turn at all. Tried putting some oil under belt but that did NOT do anything. Tried different surfaces but to no help. I am returning this. DO NOT BUY! ... show more

This product is a great size and easy to use. Everything I needed to get my steps in everyday. Very quiet and sturdy. Not too easy to assemble because the instructions weren’t real clear but did get it done. Very easy to use and the readout is big enough to see. Pleased with purchase.

Nice treadmill. I'm 5'2" so the short tread is fine for me. My husband is 5'9 with long legs, it's too short for his stride. It seems sturdy and i like how much quieter it is than my old one. I will say the directions need work and labeling the hardware would be great. Also, I have no clue how to fold this down. That was the while reason i bought this one, so i could store it away when guests come. There were no instructions or videos for this specific model I could find. The media could not be loaded. One of the things that shocked me the most was how easily the treadmill could be incorporated into hectic times. Due to the fact that it unfolds in a single motion and the handle locks with a reassuring click, I am able to move from responding to morning emails to going for a brisk twenty-minute walk in less time than it takes for my coffee to completely cool down. It is not necessary for me to lean down or squint in order to monitor the speed, time, or distance since the LED display illuminates at eye level. The readout remains clear and simple to see even on cold mornings when the sun is still quite low in the sky. Because my downstairs neighbor works night shifts, I was concerned that if I stepped rhythmically for forty minutes, it might wake her up and cause her to miss her sleep. Thankfully, the motor only makes a soft whirring sound, and the deck absorbs footfall so efficiently that I am able to take meaningful steps without the sound of thuds reverberating through the floors. It has never been necessary for me to raise my voice in order to answer a call while I was walking and streaming podcasts at a regular level. To preserve my posture during days of moderate rehabilitation, I keep the pace at around 2.5 miles per hour and grasp the cushioned handle. During lunch breaks, I increase the speed to a jog-like 4 miles per hour and allow my arms to swing freely. In the event that I touch the incremental buttons, the belt reacts immediately, and there has been no latency or jerkiness in its operation. There is still no slipping, squeaking, or hesitating to be heard after around twenty-five total miles; rather, it is simply a roll that is continuous and assured. ... show more
