I've used this quite a bit for pumping air into tires. It does that quite well while using very little battery. Most compressors I've used will use up half the power of its battery to pump up four car tires. With this one, I can easily pump up 8 tires before it drops a single bar. The battery life is impressive. Now for the drawbacks. The pressure gauge doesn't remember its last setting, resetting back to its defaults every time you turn it on. While the default is usually a good one, I have a car where the tire pressures aren't close to 36 psi, so every time I use it, I have to set the pressure again. When jump starting a car, if the battery has been dead for a while with very weak juice left in it, this doesn't have the power to start the car. When that happens, I have to use the more traditional method of hooking two car batteries together. It'll work ok, but only if the car battery is only slightly below the power necessary to start the engine. If the engine tries to turn over, this works fine. If the battery is pretty dead and the lights inside the car don't come on, this item won't start the car even if the car battery can hold a charge. Maybe this is the case for consumer jump starters, but I don't have another one to compare it to. Overall I like this product mostly because of its very good battery life.

Got this to have with me when taking motorcycle trips. No spare tire on a motorcycle, so you have to be able to repair (plug) a punctured tire on the side of the road, and then be able refill the air once it's plugged. This device provides that ability, while also providing a flashlight with strobe, a power bank for charging devices at the campground, and can jump start a motorcycle or someone else's vehicle when needed. I feel better knowing I have this with me when traveling away from populated areas.

Lithium battery technology has certainly changed things. This unit is so compact when compared to the lead/acid jumpers i have used over the past 20+ years, it's pretty amazing. When I plugged it in to charge, it appeared to show that it was fully charged but kept blinking. The instructions said when fully charged it would stop blinking so it really was not completely charged when it arrived. Haven't had to use it as yet, but with both the jump start and air pump functions combined, thought it would be good to have.

These small portable jump starters are really useful. They don't take up much space in the trunk, and I always carry one. It is so much easier to take one over to a car than trying to get your car into position and carrying jumper cables when someone asks you to jump them. It also feels safer. On this one you only connect the cables to the battery after the clips are firmly connected to the car battery. This is bigger than I expected, but still much smaller than the old school jump starters. I had a jump starter previously from Radio shack which was smaller than this that I loved. My main complaint about this charger is that it has no case to keep it clean and dry as my other one did. I am going to have to find a case to put it in in order to keep it in my trunk, which is likely to be difficult, and to add even more bulk. It is hard to test this well, since one's car rarely dies. However, I did need a charge, and it started the car. It did not work immediately but after a few minutes on the car I was able to get enough juice to start. I don't know if this had a full charge. It struggled to charge a Honda Civic. Using it once fully drained it. It charged back up in about 3 hours. It has a clear gage to show the charge level when charging which I like. The instructions are sparce but simple and sufficient. There are no instructions on the air compresser and I haven't tried to figure it out yet. I may update if I use that portion of it. As concerns the charger, my old radio shack charger seemed more powerful was smaller and had a case. I would prefer a charger with these features.
