  • Awesome! Stayed dry at a primitive campsite
An awesome investment for our cold weather camping! We reversed how it was supposed to be used, putting the shorter end near the ground and shortening the poles. This gave us some privacy when using our portable camp toilet at a primitive camp site. This was also useful at night when it started to rain. It did not leak at all, and we stayed dry getting out to use the camp toilet. We didn't use the suction cups so I can't attest to that, but there are loops to easily hook on your own rope or straps to tie to front or end of a vehicle if need. It came with lots of strings to stake it too, so probably can even use some of those. The wind kicked up during the night, and it did not tear easy. Just make sure it is tied down tight and things shouldn't go wrong. Very pleased with this!!! ... show more

  • Good budget tailgate sun shade for F-150
The media could not be loaded. Great product for the money. Going to use this for tailgating as a sun shade. The poles are kind of cheap but when the wind picked up they did the job. Suction cups also held on fine. Had a light rain and the water beaded off nicely. It’s a good budget priced shade. Even if it last one season it will be worth the cost. ... show more

  • Awesome way to add space to car for camping
Lovely. I like to live in my car with my dogs on camping trips and weekend adventures. Got tired of pitching a tent next to the car I have bad hands. This tarp is like the most perfect middle ground. Goes over my side doors , is waterproof for cooking in rain, and gives me outdoor shade. I have attached another tarp down the side for another wall before too for wind protection and privacy. It’s very versatile and sturdy. Suction cups work extremely well on my Tesla roof I have also pitched it as a shelter with no car and slept under it open air. It’s super small in the a bag great for backpacking. ... show more

  • Not just for cars you can use it all by itself.
Very light weight. Infact my first thought was, it was too light weight. I wasn't sure how sturdy it would be. I snagged it on a post and not realizing it, pulled it. It didn't tear. It feels like it could definitely handle a heavy rain. During a rain it's nice to open the back door, let the sound of the rain and the cooler weather inside. I used the crossbars on the top of the camper along with the suction cups. They're not your standard suction cups, these are like the ones you use to attach a cellphone to your dash. Since it's on the roof which gets a lot of dirt, I would take some bungees with me as a backup. Very easy to put up even by myself. I sat under it for a little while and it kept the hot sun ( feels like 109 degrees) off of me. It's a perfect fit for the back of my camper as you can see. Two thumbs up from me. ... show more

  • Poor product
The tarp appears good, the poles are too short and one suction cup does not seal or hold. It looks like the mold that was used to make the cup was imperfect causing its failure.

  • light weight
I bought it thinking that maybe the suction caps were not going to work. So it has worked as suspected. In the end it might have been better to go to harbor freight on this one. But I don't return items unless is completely useless. I can still use this one and tie down with ropes.

  • Above average fabric for $30 canopy
This camopy at slightly over 11' long is longer than many, allowing for several ways of setting up. One way is using the suction cups to a vehicle as shown. With the poles in front - "shed roof' style, or moved back to give "tent style' But given the length, you could also attach the 'vehicle end' directly to the ground via a couple tent pegs, and still have a usable area in front. Better, add 2 3' or 4' bungees to the rear and secure them to the ground with tent pegs. You now have yhe entire canopy raised off the ground, and more usable area in front with the less steep pitch. The canopy has a couple of nice details - one not so much..The positive is tlit comes in 3 drawstring bags - which I prefer to zippered bags. One outer for everything. Two 'inner', one for pole pieces and another for pegs etc. The 'not so much' is, while the poles are sturdy black anodized aluminum, the sections are all loose. No bungie cord connections between sections. Maybe one less cord to break, but it does mean easier to misplace a section. The fabric appears a step up from typical $30 canopies like this: 1. Green Vehicle Awning Canopy (Likely PU-coated Polyester Oxford) Size: 71" x 71" (~1.89 m²) Weight: 617 g GSM: ~326.5 oz/yd²: ~9.63 Stretch: No Waterproof: Likely Yes (PU-coated) Characteristics: Heavy-duty, structured, high durability, water-resistant. 2. Typical Budget Polyester Tents (Coated 210D or 300D) GSM: ~120–180 oz/yd²: ~3.5–5.3 Stretch: No Waterproof: Yes (PU or silver-coated) Characteristics: Thin, low-cost, water-resistant, used in umbrellas and basic pop-ups. Tip: Like almost all of these canopies, the front poles only make a 'point contact" with the ground. During setup. They are free to flop around in any direction (rotating around that point) making setup a pita. Secure the poles upright first with 2pcs of PVC pipe 12" - 16" long, inside diameter just slightly more than pole diameter, one end cut at 45 degrees and shaved to a point. Push/hammer into ground vertical, insert pole ends. Much easier now that poles are in a fixed vertical position. 5 stars - above average fabric for $30 canopy ... show more
