On butane it works as designed. When I connect my 1 lb propane, the gas comes out super strong. So strong, the flame actually blows out from the propane gas flow. I need to put the dial on low and the flame is still super strong. If I was to divide the dial from 1 to 10, 2 is super big flame. With little care I can also dial it down to normal or maybe even simmer. But it’s a very short distance from simmer to super strong. But now I can get rolling boiling water (2 cups, measured carefully) in 1 min 46 secs !!! That’s crazy fast !! I LOVVVVVE it. On butane the built-in piezo igniter works. On propane, the gas flow is too strong and the piezo igniter won’t work.

I will be returning this 3000w duel fuel stove. When using the adapter hose with a 1lb propane tank the igniter won't light. The pressure won't allow the gas to light. If I use a lighter and have the burner on the lowest setting it works until I turn it up and it will blow it out. Maybe just this one.

Another fantastic Micro Sized Camp Stove. It's super light in weight which is great for backpacking trips. And it is so small you can put it in any pocket literally. They have a similar tiny stove like this this that cost twice the money, and yet this one even came with an adaptor that allows use between small gas canasters and the 3lb Coleman Propane Tanks. That adapter alone cost as much as the Tiny Backpacking Stove By Itself. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Get you one and as a. Bonus you get a tank adaptor as well. This was a truly fantastic purchase.

Great little stove, but ours was missing one of the parts for the top and because of that the igniter will not work. Not a big deal I can light it with a lighter and besides that it’s excellent. Three stars for quality control.
