I got this basketball hoop in anticipation of the coming spring. Unfortunately, basketball is still a bit too cold outside because this hoop is ready to go! It only took about 30 mins to put it together using the included basic tools. The instructions recommended having a helper, and it would have been easier, but I was able to do it myself. (Note: I did not add sand to the base. That would for sure require help!) It appears to be well made with heavy steel tubing, steel hoop with some damping springs on the hoop itself. The backboard is mostly plastic so it should not rust or rot. There are many options to set the height of the hoop for about 4'6" up to regulation 10'. (Mine is set about the middle leaving one tube out just for pictures) To move the hoop up or down requires removing/replacing two bolts which would likely require a helper, but is not difficult. I think this is a great hoop to start kids getting into playing basketball.

I bought Reinalin hoop from Amazon two weeks ago. I filled the base with water as specified on the insert manual. The assembly went well and my kids were having good time at the front yard of our house. However, today I found that the hoop tumbled because of wind in the area and as a result the rim has cracked and was bent.. I will be grateful if Reinalin can send me a replacement rim so that our investment will be worthwhile. It has only been two weeks since I bought it on Amazon. The current rating I gave depends on whether or not the company responds to my legitimate concerns. Should they choose not to address my concern, it is very likely that I will change the current rating .

This is a nice basketball hoop! The instructions are clear, and all the parts are organized in numbered bags making it super simple to assemble. Took about 40 minutes and we put sand in it when we were finished. The ability to raise and lower the hoop is a great feature. Highly recommended product!
