These headpins are nice. They are on the softer side and I do prefer harder ones. Although they are soft, they seem to keep their shape and the softness does make them nice and pliable. I'm not a fan of the orangy color of these pins, but overall, solid find.

I use head pins a lot in my jewelry making and I like these pins with the ball on one end. I also like that these pins feel a bit heftier than 22 gauge pins, a little sturdier. I did count the pins in this set and I have 99 pins, which I’m not going to bother over 1 missing pin. I do like that these pins are longer (2.75 inches) because I would rather have too much wire than not enough and I don’t know what I will be using them for at this point. I do think they are well made, the silver coating looks solid, consistent and durable. I don’t mind that they are a little bent in places, that’s normal, and I can straighten them with nylon pliers. I gave 4 Stars because I think these pins are a little pricey for a slightly longer ball pin.

I make jewelry and have for more than 20 years. I recently ordered this set of MICROAMOY brand 100 piece silver tone, silver filled ball-end head pins. I use ball end head pins almost exclusively because their so pretty and add a special touch to jewelry. It's like having a tiny silver bead on the end that gives jewelry a beautiful finishing touch. I normally prefer BRIGHT silver metal in head pins and jump rings. These look more like stainless steel with a slightly darker color than silver but every last one of them is absolutely straight, which is a bonus. If you make jewelry, I would definitely 100% recommend these beautiful head pins. For yourself, or for the jewelry maker on your gift giving list. (In the pictures, at the bottom of each piece of jewelry, is the ball of the ball-end head pins) Recommended!
