Ordered 2 of these and have been using them for a few weeks now. They feel well made. Switching settings feels sturdy and doesn't feel plastic-y despite there being a lot of plastic in the design. Grip is plastic but feels good when holding the weight. As they tell you, you still need to be careful with them. Don't just go carelessly dropping them on the floor from a distance, I'm sure they will break if you do. My order of 2 came in 2 separate shipments that actually arrived on different days. If you inquire with the company they'll give you both tracking numbers. Overall very happy with these

These dumbbells are great, very happy overall. They turn easily for weights from 11-55 lbs and are comfortable to hold. I find it strange the weight ratios aren’t typical dumbbells #’s. They increment by 11’s, so 11,22,33 etc. the only typical # is 55, but if you don’t care, then no issues. There is a small design flaw in the set screws that hold the side plates together. They fall out. 1 is lost & they other became wedged between the plates & I was unable to turn adjust the weight, kept getting stuck & could t figure out why until I found one of the screws had wedged. I tightened them all back down but I don’t think they’re going to hold due to metal screws in plastic. If they could design these better so the screws stay in, they’d be 5 star. So if you order, keep checking for missing screws & retighten every so often. 2023 UPDATE: I’ve had these for 2 years now and they will last for a little when purchased until they fall apart. The tiny set screws that hold it all together continue to loosen & come out for just using them daily. Once the dumbbell handle & weights loosen due to this, the plates will slip out on you in use. I luckily wasn’t bench pressing when the plates fell out but if I were, they would have landed on my head. The set screws are too small and don’t stay in the plastic parts. I’ve taken these apart many times to tighten back up. Tried using loktite to hold the screws in, but they don’t hold & is a big design flaw. I’ll be throwing these away and spending the money on a solid set of dumbbells in 2024 that won’t come loose & crush my skull. I’m sure there are better adjustable sets out there & if you pursue, just be sure the set screws can go into metal, are long enough & not made of plastic parts. I recommend you spend your $ on a better made set of adjustable or get solid 1 piece sets that will last for years
