I bought this air compressor to replace my vintage Craftsman 3.5 HP, 15-gal one which I've had for many years. My old one is on wheels also, but is very heavy and bulky and a real pain to move around. When I pulled this one out of the box, I was very pleased to find how small, light, and compact it is. I could lift it up onto my work table easily (although it's a little top-heavy). It has sturdy handles front and rear and seems very well built. After firing it up, I was amazed at how quiet it is and how quickly it filled the tank -- less than a minute. I verified that I could still use my framing nailer at 110 PSI -- no problem. The compressor cuts out at 120 PSI, and cuts in smoothly at 90 PSI, as advertised. You can definitely use this compressor in your garage without concern about the noise and can wheel it around very easily, or just pick it up and carry it. Really like that. There was a problem though. After the compressor was pressurized, I could hear a faint air hissing sound and see the needle slowly going down on the tank pressure gauge. I found the leak in the pipe threads where the regulator assembly connects to the tank, so I contacted Limodot. They were very helpful and responsive and ended up shipping me a new unit and told me I could keep the old one. That is exceptional customer service! My only (minor) complaints about the compressor are that the pressure gauges are numbered every 30 PSI with marks indicating 6 PSI increments, which is less than ideal, and it has a winged drain cock valve instead of a ball valve type, although it's a nice one that's easy on the fingers. All in all, this is an awesome air compressor and I highly recommend it. Gave it five stars.

Great compressor. Runs solid. Super quiet. Easily portable for the job site and the aluminum makes it light to carry. The power is consistent for my needs. The odd thing is that the drain valve isn’t located bottom center of the tank like it should be. It’s located about 15° off center, so you have to lay the compressor on its side to drain. That is a pain in the a*s.

I have ordered 2 of these and both have arrived with broken plastic pieces but no damage to boxes or internal styrofoam protection. This damage is 100% leaving factory like that. Disappointing. The handle is at least 10 inches too short to be of use for a human. The wheels are too far inboard or the motor is too far out. It just tips over if you try to wheel it around. I end up just carrying it around which is stupid but really the only way to move it other than a few inches on a smooth floor. Forget trying to roll in in a driveway. It tips over sideways and end to end. Super top heavy. It holds air fine without leaking down, builds back pretty quick. I'm worried about durability. Both plastic endcaps on both compressors I ordered are broken. One was shipped with no wheels and no bumper/foot for underneath in addition to broken plastics.

This compressor is amazingly quiet. Having lived with an older Craftsman for years I doubted there was such a thing as a quiet compressor. This compressor is quiet. It fills the tank quickly. I’ve only used to top off my Motorhomes tires (36’ pusher is heavy) and it did a good job getting to 100 lbs.

I bought this compressor because mine was going to die...I love that it is lightweight and easy to move around. I use it with air tools for upholstery work...it is extremely quiet compared to my old compressor. Well worth the money!
