A very decent pond pump. Good construction and works well. This pump is designed to be used submerged. The impeller shaft is ceramic and the impeller itself is quite large - so its a good design and should last a long time. The pump comes with a variety of adapters to mate with different tube sizes both for the inlet and outlet. You can also run it using the "filter cover" that allows you to control the flow rate by restricting the amount of incoming water; however, the cover is really just a simple screen and does not actually have any filtering media (such as sponge or mesh). In my pond I actually use a separate pre-filter box to block sediment and intake the water which I then send to the pump via 1" tubing and then I send the water from the pump to a full filter array before returning it to the pond via a fountain head. This pump has no problem driving the water flow.

I have a little cloning machine. The system must be kept exceptionally clean in order to work. Many sources concluded that if the cloning machine doesn’t let plants create roots, then it is most likely that the pump has residue that cannot be cleaned off because the pump cannot be taken apart. So, even though I cleaned it with bleach, I need to try another pump. So, I tried this pump. It is exceptionally quiet and works well. You do need a 3 prong electrical outlet for this pump.

Replacing a bird bath fountain pump. This seems to be a good choice. The directions don’t show how to disassemble so attached are a couple photos. The switch for flow adjustment seems a better design than some I’ve owned. The cord is standard 6’. An 8’ cord would be nicer in my application but can’t complain. We will have to see how long it will last. Won’t see full time use until next spring.

The POPOSOAP Submersible water pump is designed to deliver a remarkable power of an 880GPH high flow rate and can lift water up to 8.5 feet high. During my test, with the largest tube fitted, the pump was able to lift the water up to 4 feet high with an impressive volume of water shooting out. Although it is unknown how the unit was tested, my results may confirm its capabilities. I did not measure the amount of water the pump can move in a minute, but the volume of water that was shooting out was indeed impressive. The setup process was easy, as I only had to select the appropriate output port size and turn the front dial to adjust the volume of water to shoot out. Moreover, the 17-ft long cord made it easy to plug in the pump to the nearest outlet. One of the most impressive features of this pump is its quiet operation. Cleaning the pump should be a breeze, thanks to its tear-down-friendly design. Overall, I highly recommend this pump to anyone who needs a powerful and efficient submersible water pump.

Works well for moving a lot of liquid and is fairly quiet doing so. I used it in pretty muddy water and even let it run dry and it didn't have any issues so I'm impressed with it. Even turned all the way down it still pushes a lot of liquid under pretty decent pressure so it wouldn't be great for low flow applications.
