I got it for my car which 4 year old and on original battery. It's very compact, comes with soft protective case and can be stored in car's glove box or in central console storage bin. It will save you a lot of money one day when you jump in your car on a cold day after work and battery suddenly will not have enough juice to start the engine. Tow truck will run you at least 5x or 6x cost of this device. Lithium ion batteries have very low internal resistance and can stay charged for up to 10 years when not used. So you charge it once and just check the capacity periodically. Device can't replace the car battery, but it can provide instantaneous boost for depleted battery power to start the engine. If this happens several times for no reason car battery needs to be replaced. Device comes with female lighter adapter, USB-C charging cable and alligator style battery terminal connectors. Alligators have wrong polarity protection module. To activate battery boost feature you need to press reset button on this module for 5 seconds and red-green flashing light will turn solid green. Device has percentage battery capacity LCD display. LCD has also in and out labels to indicate whether the device is used as a power bank or is being charged. There are 4 ports behind rubber flap on opposite side to battery terminals. USB-C port for charging internal battery, standard USB-A and QC capable USB-A charging ports, round shaped port for lighter socket receptacle adapter. A single button on the front panel tuns on LED display on a short press and 2 element flashlight on the long press. 2 elements necessary to distribute the light wide enough to illuminate both positive and negative battery terminals. LCD screen times out by itself after ~30 seconds or so. Another long press will turn off the flashlight if it is presentally on.

It might be very rare for you to need a jump start, but if you do you'll be VERY glad you had this in your trunk ! Even though you might rarely use it for a jump start, it still comes in handy as an emergency power bank and even as a flashlight. I was very pleased when I realized we could plug our smartphone into the USB2 port and the phone said "Turbopower connected" which means it was getting a fast charge, the USB1 just charged at the normal speed. The flashlight is not a super brilliant floodlight but then again it is added as an extra feature, but it still gives a reasonable amount of light for being a small flashlight, also it has 3 modes SOS, SPOTLIGHT, and STROBE. I really like the big digital display that lets you know the percentage of power left in the unit. Now obviously I was not able to test the jump start feature as I was not going to deliberately drain our car battery just to test it out, so I had to test out the features I could test out. This comes with a very nice storage container that has a hard outer shell to protect the equipment very well. Considering the 23800 mah and the features and how glad you will be to have it if you do need a jump start I think this is a pretty fair value.

Used this to jump a car that has been sitting for months. This unit had enough power to easily start the car. Cables are longer than some units I've seen. This makes it easier to attach the cables. USB charging is a nice feature & you can use it to charge your phone or other device in an emergency. It has a built in flashlight to help in the dark. It comes in a convenient carrying case to keep it stored safely when not in use. The only issue I had was the battery in the car I was starting was completely stone cold dead. The jumper easily started the car, but the safety feature killed power to the cables before the cars electrical system produced enough power to keep the car running causing it to stall just after it started. This is not the likely scenario you'd run into as most times you've just left your lights on & the battery still carries some voltage, just not enough to start the car.
