We used this for the first time about a month ago. I cannot believe how well it worked. Our pool has remained crystal clear and I've not had to shock it once since using it. I just keep a couple 3in chlorine tabs in my floater (10ft about ground soft side pool) and we have had zero algae growth. We filled the pool, used the kit and within a day the impurities floated to the bottom for easy vacuuming. It took a few times to vacuum it all out after letting it settle over the course of about a week. I wish they had other maintenance kits available. I will be purchasing this every year to open our pool! We had a sand filter but switched to the filter balls and I also think they have made a huge difference. I fought cloudy water and algae all summer last year from day 1, but the maintenance so far has been minimal after using this kit!

My first time using this product and I am amazed on how easy it made it opening the pool and how beautiful my pool looks. I was late taking the cover off this year due to the all the rain and wind. I have a lot of trees in my yard that always plays havoc on keeping the pool clean. When I took the cover off it was green and had a lot of dirt and algae on the bottom. I used the products per the instructions, and then vacuumed it out and I’ll I can say is wow! The last 4 years I have alway ended up emptying it, and using a shop vac to clean it out. Not this year. I will definitely use this start up kit every year going froward.

The product has no ingrediant on any of the package. There are some warning notice such as wash eyes etc. if consumed by pets or children by accident what should I tell the emergency room what was consumed and what the antidotes should be. The instruction for capsules was pulling off the plug and keep the hole at bottom then through it in water. The capsules will float upright with the hole on the side. It's impossible to keep the hole down. Physics won't work that way. The instruction never mentions what is expected. Is chemical getting out or staying inside the capsule the expected results? No webpage explanation either. I looked through the reviews and felt it should be emptied. Unfortunately it didn't happen. It is missing an air-in path so the fluids inside won't come out. The instruction says after putting the capsule into water then keep circulating for 6 hours. After 6 hours, the capsule is in my skimmer and the chemical level inside is still the same. I think the capsule is too small and it's not designed for in ground pool it's probably for up ground pool. Other products with containers floating can never get into the skimmer. The conclusion is there are design faults in this product.

The “pods” do not empty into the pool like they’re supposed to. The product itself works wonderfully. It the pods need a revision.

My pool was so yucky when we opened it that I thought it would never be clean. This stuff worked great. The water is crystal clear now. It wasn’t expensive either compared with other products I’ve used. On package did the job.

The capsule will not float and release chemicals. I put the first capsule in and the next morning it was floating straight up and no chemicals had been released. I had to make the hole bigger and shake the container out. Put in the 2nd capsule the same thing. Total waste of money and will not purchase again.
