I needed an easy vacuum to spot-clean my inground pool. The stick that this comes with is not quite long enough for my pool, but it attached easily to my pool rake stick, and that was long enough. I know this is advertised as an above-ground pool vacuum, so maybe my review is not so fair, but I think for what I used it, it is comparable. Pros: The battery life was excellent. I was able to vacuum my pool for multiple, extended periods before it died. I did not have to deal with setting up the pool vacuum system for a 10 minute vacuum of some sand and leaves. The vacuum strength was good and vacuumed up dirt easily. It was easy to maneuver without a hose attached. The vacuum did not have to be reset if it was lifted out of the water, just turned off and back on. It was easy to maneuver in corners and crevices. Cons: The hole is a bit too small for large leaves and acorns, and as I have trees surrounding my pool this was a bit of an issue. The leaves just didn't get picked up, and the acorns did, but stuck and clogged the vacuum. The filter bag gets pretty dirty (maybe I used it heavier than intended) and has to be taken out, emptied and rinsed. Not a big deal, just has to be done to continue vacuuming properly. Overall a good, useful investment.

The product has very low suction and the mouth opening is very small. Takes forever to vacuum the spa. It also has a very small container to collect debris. You have to continuously stop and empty it and it's not easy to do. Spend a little money to get something with more capacity and power and you will save yourself ALOT of frustration and time.
