We live in a wooded area, and our pool is always filled with leaves. We can skim almost the entire pool before emptying this skimmer. I like good leading edge and the blue color. This my second purchase for this item. The only reason I bought a new one was because netting tore slightly when using it to scoop out a 25 lb. Racoon from bottom of pool. Otherwise it was still in good share after 1 1/2 years. Large net that picks up a lot of leaves and weeds that get blown into the pool. Not so great for smaller debris. We will see how long it lasts before it starts to rip from the frame.

    • Excellent Replacement For A Torn Net
This net has a very wide opening to easily scoop up the leaves in our pool. The opening has a beveled edge to allow the net to get under the leaves to scoop up. The net itself it very deep to allow for more leaves to be scooped at a time.

The net frame in contact with pool bottom is large so strokes to clean are reduced. The net frame area is large so surface strokes to collect floating debris is also less. Win win for me.
