Description

This product disperses rapidly to establish a chlorine protection quickly. It stabilizes pool water and extends the life of the disinfectant. Use a reliable test kit to determine the stabilizer concentration in the pool water. Follow the included chart to bring the pool water to the desired range of 40-100 ppm. If the pool is new, just refilled, or has no stabilizer; add 4 oz. of this product per 1000 gallons to give the desired range of 40-100 ppm. Add this product slowly into the skimmer, or if desired, premix in a pail of warm water and then add directly to the skimmer. Be sure the filter is clean. Recirculate the water continuously for 24 hours to dissolve completely. Always maintain the chlorine residual in your pool at 2.0-4.0 ppm and pH at 7.4-7.6.

Worked well for me to bring up my cyanuric acid level. Not giving 5 stars yet cuz not sure if it will stabilize my free chlorine levels yet. That’s why I bought it. But at least it’s registering on the test strip now. Before I had zero. I put mine in a pool sock and hung it in front of the return jet. Easy way to pour the granules into the sock is to wrap the edge of the sock around a container like an old coffee container like you see in my pic. Worked great. It disbursed into the water in a few hours. I did 3.5 lbs one day. Next day did another 3.5 lbs. that did the trick for my 15K gallon pool. Would buy again. ... show more

This is THE ONE, I have about 12000 gallons in my pool right now (I still need to fill it up to top) but 2 lbs 9 oz got my pool registering CYA. Omg I tried two other brands, even the liquid kind and it was always 0. I’m so happy because the chlorine holding better . Half gallon of chlorine use to get me 1-3ppm for one day (full sun pool). That same half gallon got my chlorine levels 5 and it’s 1pm. I used a women’s stocking and held it over the return jet. It dissolved within 15 minutes with my help of squeezing. ... show more

This works to preserve the chlorine level in your pool water, and it's a better price than I can find locally. I broadcast it in the deep end of the pool, it's easy to use, but it will take at least 24 hours to fully dissolve. If that's a concern, you can dissolve it in a bucket of water before adding it to your pool. My Taylor test kit tells me how much cyanuric acid I have in the water, so I can weigh out how much I need to add. It doesn't evaporate, so it lasts a long time. We will lose some after heavy rains when some water runs out the overflow pipe, so about once a year I will have to replenish the stabilizer. ... show more
