I’ve only used this pool vac once so far, but I can tell that it’s much better than its predecessor. I used my old Pool Blaster for many years - at least 15 years, maybe even 20. It seems that I’ve had it as long as I’ve had the pool. Anyway, this new one is so much better that I’m just blown away. One year review. This small vacuum kicks butt. It picks up debris of all sizes - even sand and dead algae that’s been brushed off walls. I don’t need to pull out huge hose for our 33k gallon pool and have to go through all the steps to do light maintenance cleaning. I just hop in my pool with diving mask(or just walk it) and clean away. Battery life is great, cleaning vac is easy. The only bad is that it floats. You have to struggle with it in the deep end(our pool is 10 feet deep).

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have bought 2 of these. The vacuum works wonderfully, and it is overall a great product. However, both of them the pole adaptor has broken and I cannot find a replacement part. So, the only option is to buy a whole new one. I do not want to buy a third one, just because of 1 broken part, when everything else works great. I am trying to figure out how to make it work for this pool season, and will be exploring other options for next year.

I have a 16ft x 32ft in-ground pool surrounded by cement and with a sand filter. My normal vacuum that attaches to skimmer, does not pick up sand from filter or the grit that comes off the cement. You also can not tell what is being vacuumed or just kicked up into the water with the traditional vacuum through skimmer. This Pool Blaster unit picked up A TON of my sand and fine dirt, i saw it when i cleaned the cannister and filter cone (which is very simple to do). On one charge, I was able to vacuum the whole pool twice, close to an hour of time. The pole it comes with is for shallow water, but a traditional skimmer / brush pole can easily attach for the deep end, which mine is 8ft. With a traditional vacuum, you cannot tell when you lose suction, but with this vac, you can feel the pole vibrate slightly until battery runs out. This vacuum is perfect for clean-ups and "hard to suck up" debris.

We love this vacuum!!! Will never go back to one hooked up to filter. The fact you can get in water sweep and clean out with hose is worth it over struggling with hose and suction. Can get about a full 45min clean before dead, charges with in couple hours, picks up everything and more that isn't seen with the eye. Handy for kids to use and swim under while doing it.

This is my second year using this and it has been an absolute life saver! Our pool is under a tree that dumps little ball things into our pool whenever it rains and this thing quickly sucks them all up before they can mess up our water. It easily picks up Grass clippings, bugs, even sand. The only thing it can't get are big leaves and acorns but that's understandable because the hole is only so big. I can't imagine keeping my pool clean all summer without this vacuum!

Not bad. Definitely made getting the leaves up from the bottom of the pool & small debris much easier. The filter bag/cannister needs to be emptied & rinsed out a few times if you have a big vacuum job. This is not the vacuum for you if you are looking to suck up any algae you may have Flocked. It just shoots it right back out and into your water again. For a 4 hr charge, wish you got more than 45 mins of battery use per vacuum.

Arrived on time. Works well. These types of pool cleaners don’t last very long. We hope this one will do the job once we use it for a while, we should have better idea if it’s quality First, it’s easy to hold. Second charging is easy… charge lasted about 35 mins.
