Description

No hoses. No cords. No outlet required. Powered by five D-cell batteries, this spa vacuum runs up to 2.5 hours so you can clean hot tubs, spas, and small pools anywhere. Perfect for quick spot cleanups without dragging equipment around or relying on external power. Use it by hand for quick cleanups or connect it to any standard telescopic pool pole for extended reach. Perfect for steps, seats, and tight corners in spas and small pools. Clean deeper areas without bending or stretching. Pole sold separately but universally compatible. Strong suction captures sand, dirt, and debris from spa floors and pool surfaces. The patented retention valve helps keep debris trapped inside the vacuum instead of flowing back into the water, leaving your hot tub or small pool noticeably cleaner after each pass. The wide 8.5 inch vacuum head covers more surface area with every pass. This helps you clean faster and reach debris on spa floors, pool steps, and seating areas where dirt naturally settles and robotic cleaners often struggle. Includes one all purpose filter bag and two disposable microfilter bags to capture both larger debris and finer particles. Multiple filtration options help keep water clearer while making it easy to switch bags depending on the type of debris being cleaned.

Difficult to turn off
Style: iVac 150
This item requires 5 “D” batteries which I was not aware of. My fault for not reading about the product. However, when you have to twist the handle down on the vacuum part…I didn’t have enough strength to twist it off in order to shut off the vacuum. So for me this was not a good choice. Otherwise it seemed to work accordingly. ... show more

Catch ask the junk

This is really effective pool cleaner with very strong cleaning performance and power. Super easy to put together and using it is just pointing in the water and let it stuck up. Pretty good suction power at a fair price.

Fine for quick touchups but will not replace a proper pool vacuum
Style: iVac 150
This pool vacuum is an okay option for minor cleanups, but it leaves a lot to be desired. I use it for skimming up stray leaves and light dirt off the bottom without having to haul out the clunky pool pump hose. The main drawback is that it runs on standard disposable batteries rather than being rechargeable, which gets annoying and adds up in cost over time. Suction power is average at best; while it grabs bigger debris easily, fine sand takes multiple slow passes and still leaves bits behind. It also does not come with an extension pole, so you have to get one separately unless you plan on leaning over the side. It saves you from hooking up a main vacuum line for small jobs, but the battery setup and missing pole keep it firmly middle-of-the-road. ... show more

Shockingly STRONG suction!! Convenient. Easy!
Style: iVac 150
I have been dying to get one of these battery powered pool vacuums for a long time, so I was very excited to be able to review one. We have a swim spa, so we can’t use a full size pool vacuum, and I’ve tried multiple vacuums that work on hose pressure, or manual pumping….not only does the hose water cool the hot tub, but it just doesn’t ever provide enough suction, and hauling the hose over to the tub is cumbersome…pumping for pressure is a joke. This vacuum is nice and compact, easy to assemble …you just place 5 “D” batteries inside of the handle piece and screw on the head. To turn it off and on, you unscrew/or screw on the head just a little. Inside of the suction head is a pop off front piece that holds the reusable filter, to easily empty and rinse out. The filter pocket holds a handful of debris, but it’s only meant to…making it a perfect size for spas or swim spas. I was shockingly surprised at how much suction this has!!! We have a problem with sand, since we live on the beach, and can never keep the sand out of our spa. This vacuum immediately sucked up the heavy sand, see the video. It also sucked up smaller leaves easily. The reason I needed to give it 4 stars was the following: - the filter seal didn’t hold all of the sand, so it got into the head, which required rinsing. I was ok with this because sand is a fine particle, it doesn’t damage the unit, and the best part is that it did not drop back into the spa while vacuuming like others have done. Good in my opinion! - I don’t love the fact that it takes 5 “D” batteries, that can get pricey…but hey, I wanted a battery operated one, and if you want strong, that equals strong batteries. Plus, I don’t know how long the run time will last. - I will need to store this inside to protect against battery corrosion. I’m ok with that too. - it didn’t come with an extension pole, which I knew about, but my universal pole for my skimmer did not fit on this vacuums end. I’ll have to do some research on what type of pole it takes. So heads up on that. -When I was finished vacuuming, due to the water, I couldn’t for the life of me unscrew the head to get it to turn off. I had to get my husband to help, draining the battery life more than I’d like. I wish it had a switch, but the screw on is a safety feature to make sure it’s sealed before starting. I think the price is on point and it seems of a great quality making it a great value for the money. ... show more
