  • This vinyl repair kit from Pool Above includes eight (8) round heavy duty patches, each measuring 2 inches across. Constructed of 1100 denier polyester canvas fabric - extrusion-coated on both sides with waterproof, air proof flexible colored plastic for color-match and superior adhesion.
  • Glue pack includes 1 fl oz (30ml) tube of vinyl adhesive. Package includes an applicator and two (2) thin transparent vinyl sheets for lightweight repairs. Each sheet measures 9.5cm x 20cm.
  • Ideal uses include patching pool liners - inside or outside of the swimming pool. In dry conditions or under water inside a full pool. Additional uses include repairing inflatable pools, rafts, kayaks, and and air mattresses. Patching vinyl seats in your boat or golf cart, and more! Description

This Pool Above patch kit includes a glue kit and eight 3 inch heavy duty vinyl circles in your choice of color. The glue kit includes two complimentary 9.5cm x 20cm clear vinyl sheets along with 1 fl oz. (30ml) tube of vinyl cement and applicator. Please follow the instructions and watch the video for the best possible hold. Recommended age 14+ Application instructions: Clean all surfaces to be patched thoroughly using a vinyl surface cleaner. Cut the patch larger than the area to be patched. Cut the patch with rounded corners to prevent peeling. Light gauge vinyl & inflatable pools: Apply the adhesive sparingly to patch, covering it evenly all over. Heavy gauge vinyl & pool liners: Apply the adhesive liberally to patch, covering it evenly all over. Out of the water: Apply patch to cover damaged area being sure to press out all air bubbles. If possible, apply weight to the patch and allow 24 hours to reach full bond strength. Under water: keep patch folded onto itself over the area to be repaired, then unfold patch and apply immediately. Carefully press out all air bubbles. If possible, apply weight to the patch and allow 24 hours to reach full bond strength.Tip: If your damaged area is on a seam, add an additional bead of glue to the seam before applying the patch.

Yes the material of the patches are heavy duty but it does not bring nowhere near enough glue for all those patches. I've always used another brand of pool patch kit patch kit and yes it always worked but as soon as I put the glue the material would just curl up, so I figured I try this one the instructions did not say whether to put the smooth or the textured side of the patch facing down or up so basically I had to guess and like I said there was just nowhere near enough glue. I will be sticking to my old brand of pool patch that curls up on me I can put it on on the water if needed and it will stay on no problem and brings plenty of glue ... show more

This repair kit worked perfectly. I had purchased an inflatable slide for our above ground pool for the grandkids. By the end of the first day of use, there was a hole in a difficult corner spot. My husband wanted to throw the slide away, but I found this repair kit on Amazon and figured it was worth a try. I followed the simple instructions and we dubiously re-inflated it. No leaks! A few days later we had several elementary/middle school kids over for a pool party. Pretty sure a couple of the kids who used the slide were near the weight limit of 200 lbs. This would be the real test. Unbelievably, the slide is still inflated! No leaks and the Repair Patch Kit held superbly!! So thankful for this kit! ... show more

Worked well, but you have to take off the fuzzy stuff on the mattress to get a good seal. Its more of a mattress issue than a product issue, but it would be good to note that in the instructions. Did a good job of sealing the hole once I got down to the vinyl for the patch to adhere.
