Honestly. I can’t believe how many people Claim that this product is unusable due to brittleness. I have had zero issues. I think the issue is people have is this filament has to be dried at a much higher temp than normal filaments. So not necessarily easy to use and even AMS 2pro doesn’t dry at a high enough temp to really dry the filament properly. I have used this filament out of the package with maybe 2 hours of dry time. No issues. Great quality prints. (I use a Bambu labs P2S with a AMS 2 pro) maybe a single print that came out slightly poor quality and I fixed it by drying for 2 hours. I’ve experienced 0 tangling so I would consider it tangle free and every print has had great quality and appearance. This filament is VERY sand-able when you have a higher percent infill. I have bought multiple roles of each color so far. And easily primed 200+hours with the filament. ... show more

Yes, this is a brittle filament. You need to make sure your feed path to your extruder is free of any sharp bends, or you will experience breaks in the filament...highly recommend a run-out sensor because of this. As with all CF or GF filaments, you MUST have a hardened nozzle, this stuff is very abrasive...it will eat through a brass nozzle quickly. I didn't need to dry it out of the box and my prints with it have been pristine in a 60C chamber and 100C bed. No warping to speak of. I made some door hooks that seem real sturdy, and am printing some drone frames with it. As long as the part's not too small and flimsy, it looks like it'll be tough. I tried using it to make some smaller parts, but it was too brittle for that. Oh, this stuff smells bad though. Make sure you have plenty of filtration like a nevermore or bentobox or exhaust out a window. ... show more

Absolutely terrible filament! I wish there were an option to give zero stars. I should have listened to some of the other reviews. The filament is extremely brittle, and I've tried the steps recommended by Polymaker (discard first 50g, dried for 12 hrs). I have a centauri carbon printer and even protected in the teflon tubing the filament snaps and prints fail. It's completely unusable. Stay far away from this product! ... show more

Wanted to print a glass riser with high temperature resistant filament. Originally used ABS but had issues with dimensional accuracy even after multiple attempts to dial things in on a Bambu H2C. This filament worked perfectly on the first try after importing the Polymaker print profile into Bambu Studio. Excellent dimensional accuracy and a very attractive texture once printed. Some photos I saw online for objects printed in this filament made it appear to be a very rough texture, but IRL it is more refined and nice looking even if far from what anyone might call a smooth finish. This will be my go-to high temp filament moving forward and I plan to purchase the black version after starting with dark gray. ... show more

This filament has a super premium look and feel. It prints great in my Elegoo Centauri Carbon. The filament is very brittle and I thought it would break in my bowden tube as it's rather a quick curve on the Elegoo but it runs great. The draw back is it emits many more fumes than regular ASA. Has been a pleasure using polymakers ASACF it is one of the few filaments that arrives real close to printable out of the box moisture levels are within range although they are a little on the high side compared to other ASAs that I have gotten that are around 40% moisture thank you polymaker for making such a wonderful product wish you would make 1 kg spools though as the 3 kg spools are too big for me and the 5s mean I have to do school changes a lot more often ... show more

I was looking for a new filament to try printing new Voron parts with and found this. It has enough CF in it to prevent warping and prints easily without clogs using a 0.4mm nozzle. I'm happy with it but be warned the filament is VERY brittle. It's among the most brittle of filaments I've handled, which I wasn't expecting with the lower CF percentage. ... show more
