They are a hard plastic but they don’t look cheap. They are actually really comfortable. The high back offers great back support. They come with a great bar to rest your feet on. The bar goes all the way around since these stools allow you to spin in a complete 360. I am 5’2” and they are easy for me to get up and down in. My bar height is 41” high and these stools worked perfect. Even my 74 year old mother said they are comfortable. I like that they are not a fabric so they are easy to wipe off and clean. These would be perfect for someone with kids. These stools are Easy to clean, easy assembly, all tools included, 360 swivel, comfortable, great price and very fast shipping. I love these stools and they fit perfectly up to my bar. I really debated on the size I should choose but ultimately went with the 24 inch. My counter to the top is 36 inches so I could have chosen 24, or 26. Anyway easy to put together and very sturdy! Love them.

Ive been on a bar stool hunt for a little while now. When I saw these I knew I had to get them, I was able to get these for a great price on Cyber Monday. They are super cute and great quality. They’re comfortable, easy to clean, and swivel smoothly. The assembly was pretty easy, it comes with all the tools and screws you need plus some extras. These would be 5 star chairs if there weren’t scratches on the legs. Luckily they are black so the scratches are barely noticeable and some covered after assembly. They complement my kitchen island very well! I would recommend these to anyone

Terrible stools, only have had them a few months and despite repeated attempts they just don’t stay together! All of the screws fall out leaving seats unstable and lopsided. They clean up easily but are pretty flimsy.
