I bought this swing for mostly my use, an adult, though there are occasionally children visiting, the main person using this swing is myself. I find a lot of relaxation and calming from swinging and sometimes my boy pup joins me as well. I was very anxious to get this swing up and thought I would have our contractor put it up, but I couldn't wait, so I decided to tackle the job myself and it was a breeze to put together. After getting the saucer together I thought I would wait for the contractor to hang it, but didn't want to wait and our lightweight ladder reached the limb I wanted to use, so I also did that myself. The instructions state to smooth out the branch if hanging from a tree, to reduce friction on the straps. I also did not want to do that, but we had heavy duty plastic around from the supplies that were delivered, so I cut that to the right size and put it over the branch to make a smooth connection. The only bad thing about this saucer are the flags, they are super cheap and flimsy and the stitching came undone on a couple of them, but they in no way hinder the saucer. A really great saucer swing that I anticipate using for many years of swinging bliss.

4 stars due to it being the worst thing I've ever had to build . It wouldn't have been as bad if the instructions weren't so confusing to me. I basically had to figure it out on my own after having to go back & unscrew things. Also, the flags suck. There's no point of them even being included since they're so cheaply made. Started to put one on and just by applying it onto the swing, it started ripping so I won't be putting the rest on and will be cutting the one off. Haven't tried the swing out yet but looks and feels sturdy enough to do its job.

We put this up in a large tree in the backyard. As long as I am willing to push them my Grandkids would stay on this all day. They love this swing! It is made super strong and safe with no rough or sharp edges. The straps to hang it from the tree are very sturdy and easy to set up. It says it will hold 900 lbs.
