I purchased for my puppy to wear after his surgery, however I am returning due to the size. I have a teacup Maltese and it is too large for him. The product appears to be well made and I feel it would have worked if not being too large for him.

So, the collar itself is fine and will do the trick, BUT BE AWARE that it comes with a big orange sticker in the front and one would think that, as a manufacturer, if you're going to put such a big sticker on a plastic product, you would use a glue that makes it easy to remove, like I've seen on many other products. Well, they didn't ... That sticker was here to stay and when you try to peel it off, only the top layer of paper comes off, leaving still plenty of paper on there, and peels in teeny tiny strips ... and unless you happen to have several solvents in your garage (thank god, we did ...) good luck removing the paper and glue residues ... even with 2 solvents that ended up working, it took a lot of scrubbing and wiping and washing to get rid of that... and seriously, who wants to do that??? this is ridiculous. Save yourself some time and pay a little more to get a different brand ... saving a few bucks was not worth the 30 min I'll never get back ... also, according to the measurements in the description, it was supposed to fit fine on my 12 weeks old kitten with a neck size of 5.5 in ... well, it doesn't. I can barely close the cone on him and it fits very weird on him (very close to his face and not really past his nose in length/depth. Overall very disappointed with this product.

Works good, much more comfortable than the one from the vet. Much easier to put on and take off. Only complaint, the cone should be longer. Our border collie's nose extends past the end and can possibly get to her surgical site (knee on back leg). We have to put the velcro on the smallest setting so its not possible to buy the next-bigger size. It wouldn't fit her neck, too big. So we have the largest size that will stay around her neck, but still too small to prevent her nose extending past the end. If you have a slim dog with a long face/nose this probably won't work.

Bought the XXS size for our 6 month, 6.5 lb. kitten to use after she was spayed. The velcro seems strong and has held well. Using it at it almost its smallest adjusted size. Others have commented that the label wouldn't come off, mine came with the label on the sealed plastic bag it was packaged in so that was not an issue. The Vet and her staff liked it also.

This cone is wonderful. It's the first one I've ever used on the cat and I want a few more as backup to be honest. The silly goose got an injury and wouldn't stop messing with it. This cone is so secure and well fitting that he couldn't do anything. The size I got is perfect for an adult house cat. I wouldn't let the measurements on here scare you. It sounds like a very small diameter but it gives this chonk plenty of room to breathe. So he can't escape it, and it keeps him from reaching any and all spots. I kinda felt bad cause he couldn't clean his paws. He could eat and drink with it on, he could use the litter box, and he slept very comfortably in it. Cats really like smooth, cool surfaces so I think the cone really pleased him when it was sleep time. And oh boy does he hate this thing otherwise. The death glares are hilarious. He has caused a fair bit of destruction with him not understanding how to account for the cone's extra width but...like he's a cat, when is he not breaking something?

So, I have a very petite husky that has horrible allergies. I got a size large which is normally a little bit too big but I can still make it work. This on barely fit around her neck and it didn’t even come close to doing what it needed to do. It was like a tight necklace unfortunately. I hate writing negative reviews but I hopefully this helped you. I didn’t have much money to spend and was desperate to help my dog but I wish I would have just spent a f that extra $$ on a better one.
