I brought this for my bed as my son had an issue wetting the bed at night. I wanted something that would be easy to put on but also maintain the bed dry and without the uncomfortable plastic sound or feeling. This one is perfect. It goes right on as a fitted sheet and isn’t uncomfortable while sleeping at all it fit perfect and seems very durable. The item did come with a slight smell. We have had accidents in the past and this cover protects our mattress and memory foam. It works well and stays in place thanks to the elastic around the edge. The material is not very thick and has ripped in the corners almost right away. But this has not impacted it's functionality.

This mattress protector fits my single bed as indicated by the measurements. Whereas the previous one that I used kept riding up the edges and constantly needed to be pulled down and would not stay tucked top to bottom. Eventually, it tore. This mattress protector seems to be made of a higher quality vinyl and, hopefully, the material will endure. I have a sense of security that, if urine passes through my washable bed pad, the mattress is protected. This, obviously, is the fundamental selling point.

I like that it is plastic/vinyl and I can spray it with lysol and wipe it clean. I love not having to take it off and wash it dry it and put it back on. Much easier this way not to have to go through all that. I can put a sheet over it and it doesn't have the crinkle effect that drives everybody crazy. Look, nothing last forever and I am really picky but this is the best waterproof sheet you're gonna find especially at this price. I am on my second one and I will buy a third when and if that time comes it will be this one. Save your info since there are so many people selling the supposed same product and re-using pictures. I definitely recommend this one.

The media could not be loaded. This sheet is a decent size and thickness. It doesn’t seem like it will make much noise under a regular sheet. Easily wipes clean and provides protection to the mattress. The reason for my three star rating is the elastic on the edge of the sheet. The elastic is only in the corners and the fabric is just folded over on the straight parts of the edges. The elastic seems pretty cheap and I don’t see it lasting very long which is disappointing since you really want this product to stay in place securely.

If you’re looking to protect your mattress from getting stains from animals or spills from your children then I recommend this vinyl cover. At first it has a strong odor but it goes away in about a week. I have a cat that goes up on the bed and this has saved me several times.

I bought 3 of these in the past couple years for my kids' twin beds. I wasn't sure what to expect based on the mixed reviews. Once the first one arrived, I was pleased that it was not as thin as some reviews noted; I didn't feel it could be easily ripped w/o using a sharp object or catching it on a sharp edge. The description does indicate they are 6 gauge, so it should be easy to note a problem if the one that arrives does not meet that standard. So we ordered another one a few months later when my younger child graduated up from a toddler bed. The mattress covers are easy to put on and fit the mattresses well, loose enough to get on easily, including fitting the one thicker mattress we have. The covers did not seem noisy or uncomfortable when I laid on them after putting sheets on, and after all this time my kids haven't mentioned any problems as far as noise or discomfort. One of the covers ripped after about a year, so we had to replace that one (making it the 3rd one we purchased). I think it happened because one of my kids was sleeping on it sometimes w/o a sheet, like when their fitted sheet was loose & came off as they moved around at night. Since the other one did not rip at all, we attributed the rips to not being careful and to not having a sheet on it while the kids were either sleeping on it or climbing around on the bed with sheets off. That's why we went ahead & purchased the same one again for the replacement. We found it definitely worth it as this low price, even if we have to replace them periodically. If you want a higher quality mattress cover, there are plenty available at triple or higher cost.
