abunda_amazon_reviews *UPDATE* I feel bad, but every night while I'm flossing I think to myself, "self, you really need to update your five-star review for these flossers because ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY SUCK!" Ok, they don't totally suck, some of them are still good, but after writing a positive review and re-ordering these flossers multiple times, they keep coming apart on me! At first I just thought that maybe my teeth were strangely too close together and it was causing the flossers to fray prematurely, but then my husband mentioned that the floss quality wasn't as good as it used to be. I am a believer in honest reviews so I couldn't let this one go. Lately we've been getting our flossers from the dollar store and we have had better results with them. *ORIGINAL REVIEW* I used to hate flossing. It was so much work pulling out the string and wrapping it around my fingers and drooling all over my hands and then feeling all that moist wet nasty old food juice on my fingers. I never purchased these sorts of flossers because somehow in the back of my mind, I thought they were frivolous, something only a rich tooth snob would purchase. Then I got married to a regular working class tooth snob. I had a hard time justifying this flippant purchase, UNTIL I USED ONE FOR THE FIRST TIME. And then I, too, became a tooth snob. And the thing is, they are actually quite affordable. Especially because of the ease, you actually use them. Now I can't go to bed at night without flossing my teeth, tell THAT to my dentist. Or don't. Because he doesn't even remember me because I haven't had tooth issues since using these. The other bonus of these is how easy it is for my toddlers to use them. That's right, I don't have to wrap a string around my fingers and get their nasty moist wet nasty old food juice on ME! They can do it themselves, and I love it. And it makes them feel like real men, you know, flossing their own teeth. And that's important for their emotional health, as well as their gum health.;;Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2018;;3.0 out of 5 stars;;real men use flossers;;Frankie and Chet;;/gp/customer-reviews/RUVT8UVMT9UPA/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00YWI60R8;;;These are now garbage. I am now into my second package (out of 6) that shreds and frays so bad on the first tooth that it actually lodges fibers in between my teeth. Then, when I grab the next one to dislodge the plastic floss that has been newly added to my mouth, that one frays too. It now takes at least 5 or 6 flossers to floss now and it's an aggravating process of 2 steps forward 1 step back. Weirdly, the other bag that I have open right now is not a problem at all. I didn't want to have something stuck in my tooth for that long again so I bought my own and this seemed to be a really good cost. Anyways I'm back at my parent's home now and they have their own floss picks pack under the brand aim. Which I like a bit better because the toothpick is hooked and has a lot more durability. I like using the toothpick portions on floss picks when I have stuff stuck behind my teeth in my gums and I have to either gouge it out with my fingers or brush really hard which usually ends up pushing it deeper first then taking it out. However, the plackers brand is mint which I also like, but generally if I'm using the floss pick I'm brushing my teeth as well. So I would probably get a stronger toothpick portion with mint if I bought a new pack. But I have floss picks for days now with this 6 pack so I'm probably good for a long time.

Makes my dentist happy :)
I have tried all sorts of dental floss and flossers. My gums are sensitive and some of my teeth are so close together that I have to struggle to get normal floss to go through. I hated flossing for many years. With Plackers, I no longer struggle. It's easy to hold them, they slide in between my teeth easily so I don't end up jamming it in and making my gums bleed, and the minty taste is great. I still don't enjoy flossing, but it's no longer something I dread doing.
