It’s CLP. Either you like it or you don’t. If you are new to guns and wondering what to get, I like CLP. Easy to use. One product for cleaning, lubricating, and protecting (CLP). I don’t have to grab a whole Bunch of different solvents and oils. Just grab one bottle and go at it. Keeps my guns clean, rust free, and running smooth. Haven’t had an issue with it. I’m an average guy who likes to go shooting at the range when he can. I’m not heading out to a weekend long class where I put 2000 rounds through my gun in 2 days. I may put 200 down range at a time if that much (these ammo prices, am I right?) There may be better stuff out there, but this is my go to for my guns and they haven’t failed me yet. Tangent: they have a rating for scent. It’s gun oil. It smells like gun oil. If your gun oil smells Like something other than gun oil, throw it away and get something that smells like gun oil. Your gun should smell like a gun which is oil and gunpowder. Only thing that “scent” will do it add another ingredient to your oil that will help gum up your gun. I've used this to clean and lubricate all my guns for the last 30 years. Works great! I clean off as much as I can leaving only the thinnest of coats. Otherwise, like all oils, it attracts dust and creates grime.

This is best stuff I've found for protecting against rust. I work in the forest and use this on padlocks and sidearms that are regularly out in the elements.
