The controller is great, the buttons are supper tactile and arent squishy. I personally use a long joystick on my right and a short on the left, when using an xbox controller the ABXY buttons have a bit of travel so i notice the longer joystick but with the Manba i almost forgot about the longer joystick because of the buttons shorter travel that being said the xbox might feel a bit better in the hand because its slightly wider where the Monba is a but more squished but thats all dependent on hand size and how u hold it as for the back buttons they are a bit hard to hit if ur using both middle and ring fingers but a little easier if u just use the middle if u can reach. Esthetically the clear looks great seeing the rumble motors with a bit of the led bleeding into the background looks fantastic; in terms of features id say the screen is more for people that are very picky about controlls and how the controller responds for example i personally play with a high dpi set on my mouse cause i want thr sensitivity to be the dame across all games so when it comes to this controller it fits in for me because initially the joystick deadzone was a bit wide for me so i lowered it in the controller settings so itd be the same across all my games and on whatever device i decide to connect to. Which speaking of connection its incredibly fast soon as this thing either gets turned on or woken up its ready to play same for swapping between pc and android. Lastly the fact this thing comes with its own charging stand is a mega plus for me i dont like plugging things in specificly my phone and controllers id prefer to grab and go so the fact it comes with its own deserves a pat on the back it even chimes when the controller is placed on it so u know when youve got a connection. So despite what others may say if ur lookin for a controller and have the cash id say give this one a shot it looks great, has plenty of features for you to customize, and connects fast with some clicky buttons if u prefer those over the usual squish

I'll say that this controller more than delivered! I have a PC and PS5. The PS5 has been very frustrating because the controllers break often; if you have a PS5 then you know the stick drift all too well. I decided to go with a PC and so I bought the Manba controller after doing a lot of research on the best controllers for PC. When I got it in the mail, I immediately loved the controller. It feels like an XBOX controller as far as shape and size, but it's very unique in its own right. You have the option to change the LED colors, which as a PC owner, is worth its weight in gold. You also have 4 buttons on the back that you can program. And when I say program, you can basically do full-on sequences with them. I was playing Borderlands 4, and so I was able to build a sequence that let me do a ground pound after a double jump. I just had to adjust the timing -- and after 1 button push, I was able to execute the move flawlessly. I'm sure the controller would work wonders with complex fighting games like Tekken and others. You can also adjust the sticks dead zones and ramp-ups right from the controller, and it's very easy to make these changes on the fly. The controller also works really well with the Nintendo Switch. And there is a very easy way to switch from PC to Switch to whatever device you prefer. It does not work with PS5, because PS5 users know, PS is very (unnecessarily) proprietary. I've used the controller with shooters like Battlefield 6 or actions games on the Switch like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 or card games like YugiOh Master Duel or fast-paced shooters like Apex Legends, and it performs well in all of those environments. It was so good that I decided to order an extra one to gift as a Christmas present. One other thing that I love is that the stand that comes with it works as a very good charger. It's also very aesthetically appealing and sits well on a stand when it's charging. The USB dongle can also be stored in the base if you decide to travel with the controller. Overall, it's a great device. Not to mention, Customer Service is amazing! I had to contact them about one of the buttons sticking and they were very responsive and very helpful! I won't buy another controller in the future. I'll stick with these as I continue my migration away from PS -- because let's be honest, who wants to pay $80 for a yearly online subscription whereas PC has no online gaming cost.

Writing this review about 2 years after purchase. Incredible buy. I've really enjoyed using it over the last years and its held up incredibly well, even with me or my cat knocking it off the deck regularly. Generally the cover will just come off and I click it back on. The worst that its had happen is a stick will pop up and I just pop it back good to go. What really sold it for me is recently I bought a ps5 controller for my gf cause there was a game we were trying to play together that day, couldnt order online, its what they had in the store. Using that for any period of time made me realize how much better my controller was. Super comfortable, good connection and battery. Sticks feel great, love the ability to choose between a full trigger or a half press for when youre gonna be fiddling it a lot. Can use while its charging if you need. Programmable buttons work great and have different profiles you can use for your different games (I use it for everything so 4 profiles might be low but not a huge deal) Don't know what else. Great controller.

I game on a PC, and while my preference is usually keyboard and mouse, there are some games that were designed around a console controller so I like to have a good controller around for those type of games. I found this controller while digging through product reviews and it sounded like a capable, well made product with some interesting features. I've been using it for a few days now, and I must say it works really well. One of the qualities that I find really interesting is that this controller is capable of behaving and connecting as an Xbox, PlayStation, Switch or generic controller. This allows it to work on all of those platforms, but also allows you to connect it to your PC as any of those controller types. I've discovered that I can connect it to my PC via three different connection methods. Wired method: When you plug it in via a USB C cable you can toggle it between X-input(behaves as an Xbox controller) or D-input(behaves as a PlayStation controller) by pressing and holding - and + for 5 seconds. Wireless dongle method: When connected in PC mode via the included wireless dongle, you can toggle the controller to behave as an Xbox controller, a Switch controller, or a generic controller by pressing and holding - and + for 5 seconds. The controller rumbles when it switches between these modes but there isn't any indication on the controller which mode it is in, but you can see what it shows up as through Steam. Wireless via direct Bluetooth connection. When set as a Switch, Android, or IOS controller, you can pair it to your PC directly via Bluetooth. In Switch mode it shows up on your PC as a Switch controller, in Android it shows up as a Generic controller, and in IOS mode it shows up as an Xbox controller. Running the controller in each of the modes (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, or Generic) effects how some of the buttons behave. In Xbox mode, the home button behaves as the Xbox logo button, but in Generic mode it launches your default web browser. Switch mode will re-arrange the order of your A, B, X, and Y buttons (which can be remapped manually if you want), and the capture button will take screenshots, and you also have access to the controllers gyroscope sensors(which you can then map to thumbstick controls in Steam or something like that if you want). The built in full color display looks nice, and the controller's menu system is easy to navigate and use. It would have been nice if the display had some kind of screensaver function to take better advantage of the displays esthetic qualities. It seems like that was a missed opportunity. The magnetic faceplate isn't for sale in different color options like the product page implies that it is. I verified this by emailing the company and asking them. They told me that alternate faceplates aren't currently available and said that they may be available in the future. They said "may" not "will" so hard to say if these faceplates will ever be available for purchase. I would have liked the buttons to have been backlit, but they aren't. Overall though, it is a very nice and capable controller and I have been enjoying it and would recommend it to others looking for a nice game controller.

First things first. DO NOT PURCHASE if you are looking for an Xbox or Playstation controller for those consoles. This is not the controller you are looking for. Now with that, the reason I give it a 5 out of 5 stars. Color me impressed. The controller build feels fantastic. The buttons are all so clicky. I personally am used to the rubber dome buttons you find on typical Xbox and Xbox style controllers. The buttons on this ManbaOne controller have practically NO travel, meaning you press the button and things happen instantly. I played games I was familiar with using my Xbox Series controller, and I really felt a difference. Especially belt scroller beat 'em ups and fighters. The analog sticks feel smooth and offer deeper control over movement and aiming. The D-pad is a functional, normal d-pad. I am fine with normal here. Don't fix what isn't broken there. Now, as for the screen. This makes all of your basic controller settings that would usually be associated with button combinations are all handled here with ease. No having to refer to the manual or trying to remember various button combos. It also means you can QUICKLY and EASILY switch between your phone, Switch (or Switch 2 if you have one), and PC. Once you pair to them, it is just a quick setting switch. No having to do those button combos. This is a pro controller that doesn't carry the price tag. I highly recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent controller with premium features and a great feel After finally replacing my old DualShock that had developed stick drift, I decided to pick up the Mamba One, and I’m glad I did. The controller connected to my PC immediately with no setup issues, and everything worked right out of the box. It has a comfortable grip, the layout feels natural, and the overall build quality is impressive. One of my favorite features is the removable faceplate—I swapped mine to the clear cover, and it completely changes the look of the controller. My only small criticism is the ABXY buttons. They’re a little more clicky than I personally prefer, and I think they’d feel even better with a slightly softer, more cushioned press. That said, it’s a minor preference and doesn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, this has been a fantastic upgrade, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality PC controller with customizable styling. Bonus: If you’re looking for a display stand, I design and 3D print custom controller stands in a variety of styles. You can find them at Melted Plastic on Etsy—they fit the Mamba One perfectly.

Update: I'm re-evaluating after testing out other controllers, and may just keep the Manba One afterall. I've went and purchased 16.5/20 foot long cables to see if they are a good enough workaround for my unconventional setup, and abandoning wireless altogether. I've purchased about 5 other controllers this season and have returned them all, Manba One may be the winner yet. Ultimately, I have to return this because it did not work too well for the very unconventional setup I was going for. I used this controller with the XB 3 Brookman wireless dongle that converts controller signals to be compatible with my Xbox Series X. It worked like a charm, mostly, while playing I had no issues, no disconnects randomly, and the battery is very good. The problem is that every single time I turned off the controller, put it on my charger, or just took a break from gaming and let it disconnect... i constantly had to replug my conversion adapter. WITH A WIRE, this is not an issue but I am aiming for a purely wireless setup! I have tested my Brookman adapter thoroughly, and this wireless issue was not present on other converted signals, even the PS5 dualsense was seamless transitioning to the Xbox Series X. Turn off controller, turn on, automatic reconnect with no hassle. The Manba One is constanst hassle every time I wanted to reconnect the controller when I come back to play on this albeit very unconventional setup. Now, of course, I'm still giving this 5 stars because it's an excellent controller if you plan to use it for what it's made for, unlike my experimental self! What I wish this controller did have: easier method of switching control profiles. Having to go through the on-screen menu to switch between my 5 different presets was not very intuitive. A simple switch underneath to scroll through them would be good enough? The macro settings worked nicely but were a bit cumbersome to setup. An app on a phone could easily make this a more seamless experience to switch profiles and setup remaps, macros, etc. The controller could do with a better grip underneath. Another complaint that applies to so many controllers on the market like this... i hate that only certain keys can be remapped. In particular, I really want to be able to remap the "Select" and "Start" buttons. A minor irksome trait that can be bypassed on PC with third party apps, sometimes. But still, too many controllers go out of the way to try and prevent this. Let us remap ALL the standard buttons, thank you! Finally, a secondary button to press to enable turbo manually would've best instead of more permanent remaps. Like say I would just press a button underneath at the same as ABXY whatever, any button in conjunction for only TEMPORARY turbo instead of a permanent option customized in the presets. Turbo is only so useful in temp conditions and must be quickly turned off to resume natural gameplay. Being able to turn it on and off on the fly, i feel, is the best approach that this controller lacks natively. Another issue you can bypass using third party apps on PC, or even just Steam configuration, really.

I had to return the controller because it kept shutting off and would not come back on until I switched the on off switch on the back several times. After receiving the replacement controller I am extremely happy with it. The triggers are very smooth and responsive. You can make the triggers short or long which is nice. The lights are a nice feature but not that important to me but they do look good and you can controller them through the app. The sticks have zero drift and are just as good as my ps5 controller or any other controller I have used. I would definitely buy this controller again.... oh, I don't like how it's packaged. The box is open you can slide it right out and look at it use it then put it back and no one would know you had it out. They should at least put the clear round tape on it like other packages.
