Starting off, I bought this filament because of it's affordable price tag, and almost no other reason. I was looking for ok filament for a great price, but what I got was far from that. First impressions where good, it shipped fast and came tightly sealed in a vacuum bag with an adequately sized discant packet unlike some other cheap filaments I've purchased. I first measured the diameter of the filament in about 20 different spots and found that it was within spec, also, unlike some other cheap filaments. I then began printing some test prints to test for moisture and found that it was good. Not only did the prints come out exactly how they should, they came out beautiful and bed adhesion was reliable and strong. At normal speeds this filament produces great results however at higher less reasonable speeds it still produces a "Usable print". Compared to some other filaments I've used this Sunlu PLA did very good at super high printing speeds. This is definitely high quality filament and a great value. The most pronounced benefit I can highlight about this filament vs some other cheap alternatives is that the bed adhesion is great. Many cheap filaments have terrible bed adhesion due to a variety of factors. Overall I'm pleased with this filament and could not find any major flaws in my spool.

The PLA Meta 3D filament gives nice smooth results once you get your temperatures dialed in. If you exceed the listed temp range, it will ooze and puddle on you. That said,bit works extremely well if your are using a .2mm nozzle and .1-.05mm layers. This filament really flows. Awesome if you are printing miniatures.

Update: I wanted to come back and update this review. Based on what I have learned in the last few days of searching for print settings for this product, I have updated my review to 5 stars. The reason is simple. When I purchased this product I thought I was buying standard PLA. This purchase is a slightly different type of PLA though. I ended up finding some other people who were printing this product with slower print speeds and a hot end temperature of around 200 degrees Celsius. These simple changes transformed my prints with the Sunlu PLA Meta product drastically. I am not sure what the specific differences are in the filament but I encourage anyone buying this product to do your research and find the settings that will work for you and the printer you use. Original review: I bought these rolls of filament because the pricing was good for 3kg. I have had to throw away about 80% of the prints I have made with this filament. The machine I have is a Bambu Labs P1S. Other brands of filament have done very well without changing any settings on the machine but this stuff is junk. Adhesion is terrible. Even adhesion between simple layers was bad resulting in projects that split apart. The moment I switch brands of filament and re-print the failed project, I get good adhesion and well laid layers across the whole project. Not sure what is going on but it isn't good. I would not recommend buying this filament even at the lower price per 3kg.

This is a great “budget” PLA and it’s become my go to for prototype prints or things that will just be serving as utility. You can’t beat the price and it is some of the best winding that I have from ANY filament. Plus mine came with a tag to help keep it from getting tangled and a filament clip which is awesome. The resealable bag is great and SUNLU has a great product with this one. The white isn’t a vibrant white like you would get from a Polymaker or Hatchbox but still does the job. Need to play with your settings a little becuase this does print cooler than most and when I had my standard profiles on it, I was getting some bad adhesion intil I actually lowered the bed temps and printing temps to around 55c and 195c.
