- Recommend Settings- Ultimately, it is recommended to test a print temperature tower to demonstrate printing at each temperature range. We recommend printing at a Nozzle/Extrusion temperature of 200C - 205C and Bed/Platform temperature of 0C - 60C (0F - 140F) when using a dryer box to keep the filament's humidity at about 25 degrees. The surface of the model will be very smooth and shiny with no stringing. However, if the 3d printer filament is not dry enough, we recommend printing at a Nozzle/Extrusion temperature of 190C - 195C and Bed/Platform temperature of 0C - 60C (0F - 140F).

Packaged in vacuum plus desiccant to keep the tri-color filament as dry as possible. Please note that vacuum plus desiccant packaging cannot completely dry the filament. This filament prints so good! We only had trouble with one print and honestly it wasn't the filaments fault. The spools are small so it works great with the Tina2s printer. The colors are gorgeous! We haven't had any problem with tangles and have dropped items and they didn't break!

UPDATE #2: I was contacted by the seller, who offered me a complete refund. It is nice to know that they are reading their reviews and are a responsible business. Updating to 4 stars because they were willing to take care of the issue. I go through a lot of filament, and 'may or may not' try them again: if I do, I'll update my review accordingly. I liked it was cheap, hated that it does not hold up. Colors show one side and the other, through all prints. So, you end up with a left sided color and a right side color. Ok, but not what I was hoping for. Printing is an issue with needing more supports than normal. Would not print what other filaments had no problem with. I will not purchase again. UPDATE: This stuff has waisted to much time and effort, I hate it. Complete garbage, just when you think the print is going to work, the filament messes up big time and ruins everything. Pieces and junk everywhere. When I switch to a different filament - no issues.

I don't normally buy silk filament, but this was discounted to the point I'd give it a try. This stuff printed great!. A few issues when I printed on my K1 Max, but that was due to an environmental issue (power brownout due to circuit load, not the filaments fault). The colorshift looks cool when rotating the final pieces, and you can control that somewhat by rotating the print in the slicer. No clogs or jams when I used it, and I would probably get this brand again (if the price were to drop. I just can't justify spending a lot on filament like this). The printed pieces look so good, there's no need to paint them.

I have a Prusa Mk3s, I’ve used it for about 5 years now and have bought many different types of filaments from many different vendors. This is the only time I’ve had so many issues with a filament. It was impossible to load using the prusa settings, I had to remove the tubing and manually insert the plastic (and adjust settings) in order to load/unload this plastic. Worst part is that this problem is true for all 4 of the spools. If you do manage to get this plastic loaded and printing it does print a nice color, however it is NOT worth it. Buy plastic from a different vendor and save yourself HOURS of troubleshooting.
