I like the look and the ease of the auto feed. Doesn’t cook fast at all even on high and it was about 70 outside. The racks came bent and has damage so maybe it has other damage that keeps it from cooking as it should idk but I didn’t appreciate that. The smoke ring goes deep if you leave it in low for the first 30 mins it’s just the finishing. At high for a couple hrs the pork rib meat still didn’t shrink from the bone and I couldn’t get the glaze to harden under the heat. The temp gauge in door fogged up and will not defog so hard to read and doesn’t look good with a foggy lense. However I made my decision on the neat design and style ... show more

Package came in damaged with all the nuts bolts and washers scattered. Feel like when it's time to smoke unit doesn't put out enough smoke throughout the cook. And temperatures are uneven throughout the smoke chamber. Tried cooking starting low and high can't figure out how to get the smoker to produce enough smoke. Meat never comes out with that much of a smoke taste even after hours of cooking in low or high heat. ... show more

Assembly was not to bad I wasn't missing any pcs but some of the holes didnt line up all that well. directions are easy to follow . once fully assembled everything worked properly,grill looks appealing and the quality is pretty good for the price. I would recommend this smoker if this is the style you like .this is my first electric smoker and I prefer the vertical type vs the horizontal kind. ... show more

  • Great smoker.
I love this thing. My first pellet smoker. I think the temp guages/probes are off. Get a separate thermostat probe with it. I do love this smoker though. Easy to use. Does a great job.

The media could not be loaded. Other than a crappy placement of the temp gauge for the pellets, I think this smoker is great. I’ve used it for over two years and never had any problems that I couldn’t adjust for.

  • Brand new ran 7 hrs and ERL code
I purchased this smoker on 4/7/22 here on Amazon. It arrived late on 4/15/22 due to UPS. There was a large dent in the side of the barrel which I got out with a hammer. I smoked a turkey breast on 4/16/22 for lunch on Easter. The smoker ran for 6 hrs on 300 degs and shut off due to a ERL code. The smoker wouldn't power off so I unplugged it and wiped the heat probe of and plugged it back in. It heated up to 77 degs and shut off again. I used the card that came with it to register it on Pit Bosses website. I couldn't do that. In the search products they didn't have this smoker. I put the part # in and tried to register it wouldn't accept it. So I can't even register it. So being the night before Easter I will have to finish my turkey in the oven and have to wait till probably Tuesday to contact Pit Bosses Customer Service. This is my second Pit Boss smoker. I had a Pro Series that lasted 4 years prior to this one. Pit Boss is just like every other America company. They have their products made for nearly nothing in China with little quality control to make a profit ... show more
