For the price, this is a deal if it will last a few years, hopefully. I hooked this up 4 days ago so I cant speak on longevity yet but this little tiny box with amp and 10" sub really puts out some nice bass. I installed it in the back of my 2009 Honda CRV with it aimed backwards toward the back hatch connected with RCA sub out on a touchscreen stereo I bought here on Amazon also and it sounds incredible. Everyone says how easy it was to install and for the most part it was easy but it took me a while running all the cables and hiding them the best I could. I used black plastic wiring loom on all my wires that were visible including under the hood to the battery so it looks pretty tight. Once it was all in place and I had tested power, plugged it in, turned on the stereo and there was nothing, remembered the stereo had a setting for external amp so checked the box and out came the BOOM. Solid bass for all types of music. This made my daily driver so much better and now it sounds like my stereo is loud. People are seriously impressed like I am when they hear it. My wife's jaw about hit the floorboard when she heard it the first time, big smile on her face. As long as it can withstand the test of time, I would recommend it for a budget minded DIY stereo build. ... show more

Listen it's not going to Rattle your car apart. But I have it in the trunk of my convertible Mustang and I definitely hear and feel the difference in base. It rattles the car but without being overbearing. If you are wanting solid base but aren't looking for ridiculously loud bass, this is for you. If I can notice it in a convertible Mustang in the trunk, then you will notice it as well ... show more

Smaller than a full size box, but this thing packs a punch! Even on low I can feel the low frequencies vibrating my steering wheel. Love the grill, since i got a lot of crap in my trunk. Give it a few days to break in, and you won't be disappointed. I noticed too that my stock speakers sounded like crap, but after installing this sub it has greatly improved my stock speakers, due to the built in amp. So glad i made this purchase! ... show more

    • Worth a 120 bucks for sure. If yours doesn’t blow the amp.
So I have a beater work truck that had a 25 year old stock system. I got at least an hour drive time a day so couldn’t take the blow stock system any longer. Went on the ultimate budget build for a stereo. Got a Soundstream Bluetooth 300 watt deck, 40 bucks. 4 Pioneer door speakers, cheap ones, 60 bucks for all four. Then 2 months later I added this 119 buck sub. The sub made the difference. 240 all in, and sounds decent, not great, but I only spent 240 bucks. The best part is the Pioneer 10 sub, it’s definitely worth money. By the way, this is the first review I have ever submitted. I’m 45, listen to mostly hip hop, spent more one just a 600 watt amp in ‘91 and think this sounds better. Update, amp blew after 2 months. So down grade of rating. Previous bazooka tube owner review. I have had full blown systems with JL audio W7’s etc etc when i was younger . I have also reduced my need for bass but needed a filled out audio experience when driving. My go-to has always been bazooka tubes if i just wanted a little bass to fill out the low end of songs , due to their all in one unit design and ability to provide reasonable bass from a 6-8 “ woofer. That being said my latest vehicle had a 10”kicker solo Baric mated with a koiiler 1000 watt amp . Had to replace the unit due to the ex leaving me because I’m too attractive for her . Decided that an all in one unit was what I wanted but didn’t want to sacrifice the trunk space that the original amp and sub were taking up (about half my trunk) Went with this unit as a solution. Bass Is tight and responsive . Easily equals or possibly out does the bass of my previous setup . Trunk has more rattle that can be adjusted ( recently installed dynamat and no more rattle) Having accessibility to the bass boost knob at all times is hand especially if you listen to a large variety of music types ! Sometimes rock will drone and other times the bass is just too much for normal conversations or a impromptu phone call , bass boost knob solves instant adjustment needs. All in all I have to say if an all In one unit with good bass that won’t rattle your neighbors windows, will fill out the frequencies in you beats and doesn't take up too much room is what you want then this will definitely do the job , save you cash and not have to worry about amp access and overheating that comes with buying independent speakers and amps. ... show more

I added this to my stock 2022 Camry TRD audio system for some low end filling in and man… this thing is great! Very impressive 10in powered sub. This sub really thumps and fills in those lows nicely. The added volume knob is a nice feature although I hardly ever use it, keeping it on max all the time. Can’t beat it for the price, highly recommend. ... show more
