The 2023 Easton Encore Hybrid -10 USSSA Baseball Bat pulls in all the best features of Easton's cutting edge bat engineering, resulting in a 2-piece hybrid bat that will earn you a reputation as an offensive force every time you step in the box. We built the barrel of this bat with CompCore Technology, pulling together cutting-edge elements of alloy and composite barrel design. To create the CompCore barrel, the ringless R5 alloy of the Encore Hybrid is thinned out by about 30% and then reinforced with Thermo Composite Technology across the length of the hitting surface. This creates an ultra-thin barrel wall, bigger sweet spot, and maximum "trampoline effect" upon contact. The PureLynk CXN joint connects the handle directly to the barrel, maximizing the energy transfer and stiff feel of the Pro-Stiff carbon handle.     • Hot, Underrated BBCOR Bat

The Easton Encore BBCOR is an excellent, underrated bat for power hitters. If you watch the Baseball Bat Bros reviews, you know they don't like how the Easton Encore BBCOR "feels," although they admit it's a "hot" bat in terms of high exit velocities. And from the Bat Bros' hitting performances in their videos, the Encore looks fantastic when they square up the ball. They hit tons of dingers with it. My son, a college player, has gotten a lot stronger this year and is interested in a more endloaded bat to hit for power. The Encore fits that description, so I picked up an Encore 33/30 marked down to a price that can't be beat. Turns out HE MASHES with the Encore. Like, seriously destroys the ball. In on-field BP last week, the ball just jumped off the Encore's barrel. There's something about the composite inner lining of the alloy barrel that noticeably improves pop. We put it up against the Stinger Guardian, the Stinger Nuke, and the Warstic Gunner. Against those three excellent power-hitting bats, the Encore was the hottest, on average, in terms of exit velocity. We still need more comparison testing under game-like conditions to determine which of the four bats he competes best with. Exit velocity is not the only consideration. But so far, he swings the Encore better than the Nuke and as well as the Guardian and the Gunner, despite the Encore being fairly endloaded (i.e., feels heavier because of more weight at the end of the barrel). And the Encore's impressive pop makes it a contender for game bat in the spring. If you like an endloaded bat and want to hit for power, the Encore is the bargain of the year. My 16 y/o is a great contact hitter with surprising power. This bbcor bat is a SLEEPER as a hybrid composite handle and alloy barrel. So there's a little secret, the barrel is actually composite with a thin layer alloy surrounding it. I believe this is the first of its kind so you get the hot out of the wrapper alloy with the trampoline effect from the composite. Absolutely loves the swing weight through the zone, slight end load, big barrel, and the sound is "odd" but in a good way. He is barreling up balls and driving frozen ropes deep into the gaps. He's other bats cost 2-3x's more are either 1 piece alloy too light and pencil barrels or 2 piece way too heavy logs. Yes this is a slight end loaded bat but it gets through the zone smooth and when you make contact it flies. All those foul balls are now being driven into the field. The first thing that was noticed is how nice yet understated this bat looks. Secondly the know is rubber. That's a new one. Maybe it will keep the bat looking better plus possibly keeping the bat from slipping out of the batters hand. The swing feels great. The weight is where he likes it. This bat has a great grip and feels good in your hands. It's very well built and looks beautiful as well! Swinging and hitting the ball farther than I have using other various bats make me feel like a professional baseball player! When this bat arrived, a little bit of the grip tape was undone, but we were able to stick it right back down and hopefully it’ll stay in place or we’ll just add some glue or something to keep it where it belongs. Other than that the bat is gorgeous, my son says it is exactly what he needed, it swings beautifully and the weight is right where he wants it. The grip on the bat in extremely comfortable. The vibration is minimal. The bat really does all the work. It's got great pop. I've also owned Easton bats because they really are the best.

It's a nice looking bat. The weight and balance are great. It's still up to you to make the connection, but when you do, it does what a bat should do and then some - HUGE pop and just seems like it gives you a special advantage.
