Sounds great, great price! I put it in an old powered Yamaha subwoofer box. I had to completely seal off the metal backplate so everything was air tight after removing the electronics. Otherwise the pushed air would make a distorting noise. Paired with NHT bookshelf speakers (also great), the pioneer adds nice deep clean bass. Very happy! ... show more

Used this sub on a 500 watt pioneer amp that is only 190 watts rms at the recommended 4 ohms and within 2 months the sub was making crackling noises so its out of commission for the time being might return it
