Picked up this thermal printer for tattoo stencils, and it’s been a blast to use. Setup was painless — the instructions were clear, and I had it connected to my phone with their app in just a couple of minutes. The app makes it really easy to grab designs, download stencils, and resize or duplicate them however you want. No fussing with clunky software, just pick your art and print. The print quality is solid, especially for line art. Bold, clean designs transfer the best, and they come out looking sharp on the skin. It’s a fun way to test out a tattoo idea before committing, or just to have some creative fun without the permanent life choices. The printer also works with other thermal paper, and the results come out with surprisingly good resolution — so it’s handy beyond just tattoos. Application takes a little care. You just need a small amount of water, but the trick is to keep the stencil from moving around while you’re pressing it down. If you’re patient and careful, it transfers really nicely. Move it too much, and you’ll end up with a smudged version of your masterpiece. Overall, I’m impressed with how easy it is to use and the quality of the results. It turns a phone and a few minutes into a full-on tattoo station, which is pretty cool. Whether for practicing designs, playing around at parties, or just seeing if that dragon tattoo really belongs on your forearm, this little printer gets the job done. So far, I have absolutely Zero complaints and a lot of Wow. I love the fact that you can be completly portable in your tattoo world, it can be plugged in while running or you can charge it and get plenty of prints without worrying about the battery. If you go to clients to do at home appointments, this is one less thing you have to ask to plug in. The software for it works well but be aware it has a monthly or annual fee (the annual is a much, much better value for the money). Uploading your own images into the software to print isn't complicated at all, and it has features to take your own drawnings and run different filter to give you different stencils for the specific style of tattoo you're doing. Its compact sized, comes with a nice bag to carry in. Its not too heavy or too light, its that perfect weight that say quality. It is completly wireless, can be operated by; phone, tablet, apple, android, PC. It also comes with all the wires necessary to to connect it directly, if you need to for some reason. ... show more

I was nervous buying one of these printers in general depending which brand you get seems hit or miss for people but I’ve never had a problem with this printer, it works great and the print quality is amazing! Got this for printing tattoo templates, and the details is incredible. Everyone is right about getting the transfer paper from the same brand. Just get theirs and save yourself the headache of inferior tattoo transfer paper. When it came in I printed out a detailed tattoo to see how it would do. The image was perfectly clear. The printer I had before this was horrible at small details. Then, I put the transfer on my arm to try it out, and it lasted for two showers, and body lotion application. Usually after you apply the pattern and start wiping away ink and reapplying gel, the pattern disappears and you're winging it to finish up the tattoo. Not the case here. Your transfer will last until your tattoo is completed. Also, it's a great printer for documents. Overall I'm more than pleased and would recommend it to anyone, even if you just need a small, portable printer for documents. Just remember you do have to buy thermal paper, as regular copy paper won't work, but it's worth never having to buy ink cartridges and being able to easily take it with you. ... show more

Fantastic printer, easy to use, very portable, and the app is amazing IF you pay for the pro subscription. I went out a little bit for a good printer, cost almost twice as much as my dragonhawk pen and worth every penny. Only comes with 10 stincil papers, so you'll definitely need to buy more for it, but for what it is, very clear print quality and very easy to use and transfer. The only reason that it got a 4 instead of a 5 is because after spending $200 on a printer for one specific purpose, I still had to spend an extra $40 for a year of use for the app. There are free options on the app, but in order to do half of what it is capable of requires a subscription. ... show more

I’m genuinely so impressed with this printer! Set up was insanely easy, like a toddler could pull it off lol. It prints beautifully. I just really quickly printed off an idea from Pinterest to get a feel for it and it’s gorgeous. The printer came with several printing sheets so that’s really nice. It’s already charged and it’s nice to have something rechargeable. It takes up so little space. I highly recommend this printer. It’s easy, it’s sleek, it operates beautifully, the stencil prints so so cleanly. The sellers are also really responsive.
