These boots are comfortable and sturdy but not stiff. I wore them hiking at Yosemite and had no problems. I like that I can zip them up and not have to tie them everytime. One thing I noticed though and this is kinda important, if they’re wet and you walk on a smooth surface, they’re slippery! Nice boots but unfortunately the sizing was really a bit off. I'm usually a 6, 6.5 so i ordered a 6 wide thinking it would work. Fit but they were tight so I sent them back. No fault of the shoe. They seem like they are made well, not too heavy or cluncky. I would order again if they had my size.

I’m very happy with these boots. It’s been a month. I bought these for working around the yard and for the ankle support. I like the tread on these cuz they don’t pick up a bunch of stuff on the bottom of the shoes. They don’t seem to slip on wet surfaces but I haven’t worn them hiking. I got the wide size “8” they look kinda long but they don’t hurt my toes and my insoles fit inside. Also the side zipper makes it so easy to take on and off.
