The intake itself installed no problem other than the hose clamps being pretty low quality as they are just tack welded together so couple of them snapped I had to buy new ones. The shroud that came with it will not fit on my truck. I don’t know if it’s set up for a different vehicle but it’s a 2015 ram 1500 5.7 hemi which is what I ordered.. so not too sure what to do with it probably just throw it out. Would’ve been nice to have something to help keep the heat away from the air filter. but the million dollar question is, is it worth the money? In the long run, I’m gonna say no just because the air filter is dangling space where the stock airbox used to be. There’s nothing to hold it steady. after hitting a couple decent bumps for a couple days or a week I open my hood and intake was off all that extra with filter and pulled it right off. so if you’re going to use a temporary as a back up, it’s probably good, but I will be looking for something better constructed and with a shroud that fits. 2stars. can’t use it for much longer. Gotta get something else.JUNK!!!!!!!! ... show more

With taking my time and using included instructions plus a little creative thinking. I got the assembly to work on my new generation 2004 f150 with everything in the kit. Couldn’t find the saddle bracket and didn’t see a filter adapter other than tightening down the filter to the mass adapter and had to relocate the shield pavement . There also was a coupler that would work better if it wasn’t a step down type and was same size on both ends. But!!! It did work on my 2004 new style f150 4.6. Thanks Guys for the upgrade.
