Pretty easy to install but I did have a previous deadbolt and door handle so all holes were drilled. Everything lined up perfectly. Written instructions were good, I could follow them easily. Setting up app on my iphone was also easy. Once connected it also worked perfectly. I also like that it works with Alexa and while that took a little more to figured out because the instructions basically said set up in Alexa but Alexa said set it up in the app. There wasn’t any instructions on exactly how to do that part.

Living the ease and knowing I can check if the door is locked and set it to auto lock. Give temp codes, be notified if it’s opened or when it’s locked again. Great for increased awareness! .

Good: Easy to install. Very good functionality. Easy to use app and easy to connect to WIFI. Deadbolt provides comparable security as previously installed deadbolt. Bad: Deadbolt strike plate way too long compared to previous deadbolt strike plate. I had to use the existing strike plate. It would be nice to allow the app to automatically lock the deadbolt at specified time (i.e. 11:00 PM daily).

It was easy to setup. Be sure to download the app before installing. Installation is very easy. Not much more complicated than changing out a normal lockset. It looks nice. It operates smoothly. We wanted one with the auto lock feature, such as this one has, as our daughter has a habit of forgetting to lock the door when she goes to school…. Ugh. This solved that problem easily! You can customize the delay which is nice. Everyone can have their own door code too which makes it easy to see who is coming in (and when!). Seems to be well built.

Product itself is ok. The APP sucks. Can’t use it from anywhere like it says. It constantly is disconnecting from the WiFi and you always have to try and pair Bluetooth to get it connected again. Review the APP reviews before buying. I can’t believe Phillips puts their Brand name on this device! ***** Update******* (changed to 5 stars because) Phillips stepped up after reading my original review. They understood my concerns, did some research and completed the updates necessary to the lock. It’s now functioning as it should. They were quick to respond and their willingness to offer options is what customer service means. Very pleased with everything thus far now!

It works so far but you can only have one code. It appears rudimentary compared to my Schlage. The software was easy to install. You also cannot lock it without putting in a code. It's a terrible lock
